Eastern vs. Western?

Which do cruisers recommend - Eastern or Western? We are trying to decide for next summer. We went on the Eastern trip and had a blast this summer.

I was just about to answer you post on the other thread and I saw this one.

Well, we have done the Eastern 3 times and the Western once. We like the Eastern because the shopping is very good in St. Thomas, and Ok in St. Maarten. But we really like the three sea days.

We liked the Western because the ports had more interesting excursions like Stingray City. I loved the Western Ports but did miss the extra sea day. The shows are all the same on both of them.

All in all, I would take either....I know this does not help your decision, but I really don't prefer one over the other...I just love being onboard...I wouldn't care if we just sailed for 7 days and never went to a port!!! When I book again it will be for price and when we are able to go, not necessarily the itinerary.

Thanks for your response, I'm sure I'll miss the other sea day but I'm intrigued by the different ports on Western.
