For those of you who have taken both the 7day Eastern and the new Western, can you tell me which you liked better and why? Thanks

Goofy D,

I have only been on the eastern, so I can't answer your question. If you don't get any replies, I would go to www.castawayclub.com and check out Barb's trip reports. Her and Tony have been on the Eastern and Western. I won't be able to compare until 2004!!:D

I have been to all the ports, however one was not with DCL. I really enjoy the western much more. However, due to the new itinerary, the price is much higher on the western through Disney right now. just my thoughts, if you have not done either than try the eastern...

Goofy D - we've done both and they're fantastic! We like the Eastern just because it's a bit slower paced and more relaxing - begining the cruise with the first two days at sea really gives you a chance to enjoy the ship too. But... we loved Grand Cayman! Flip a coin - you can't go wrong with either! We booked the 4/5/03 Eastern next!

I cruised on NCL 4 night Western with stops in Cozumel and Key West this past Dec.

When it was time to book our first family cruise on the Disney Magic I decided to go on the Eastern route. This cruise in Nov will be DH's & DS's first cruise.
