I was working this afternoon and couldnt check back.......The Hyatt was an idea too, but my dh hated the idea of staying at an airport. I told him over and over how many times going thru MCO did we say how nice it looks.........Oh well!He said that he would feel "stuck". You all will have so much fun! My dd collects the pins, so shell be bummed.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of time to 'Partee' with us all, you'll just have to wait until you get on the 'Magic'!LOL

In your situation, I would probably consider Port Canaveral area, but with only two of us traveling and me doing most of the lugging of luggage, the Hyatt seems like a good idea!LOL

Have your DD bring her pins, 'cause they have Pin Trading every night and the CM's carry lanyards just like in the parks!

Gotta go and do some work!LOL

I agree with Scratch. We are planning on staying at the Hyatt. Right now the prices are really down from the $129 to $83 and its better due to all the luggage. I am waiting until Thursday or Friday to confirm to see if the price goes down any further due to the war situation. We can always meet on the Magic (the internet cafe is a good spot) when we get on board .

So it should be the Hyatt on the 23rd, then the pin meet at the internet cafe on the 24th .

WE women plan things way too far in advance, lol. I booked last year in July for this cruise, I'm one too talk.

Where is everyone located on the ship, I know several of us are on Deck 6 aft, where are others?

I got you beat . I am already planning my next vacation (after 1/24/04). We are either going on a Alaska cruise (throught DVC) in Aug or Sept/2004 or a DCL cruise 12/04 (booked while on board on 1/24/04 cruise).

I know you, Scratch and us are on AFT deck 6.

We had a problem with our computer for the last 24 hours......the withdrawl shakes were terrible! Anyway, i told my dd about bringing her pins and shes excited. I called again to the radisson and they STILL are not taking ressies for Jan 2004.....Oh, are vacations after the cruise will be Disneyland,CA. over Easter! We have one more trip to look forward too as well. Disney World at Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lifes good!

Looks like we will be at WDW around the same time you are. We are going up on November 2 for 5 or 6 nights (we haven't yet decided how many days).

Looks like we will confirm with the Hyatt probuably tomorow since the rate is $83 for now. We want to grab this rate prior to it going up.

I am glad your computer is fixed now. If my computer went down I would be going through withdrawl .

We will be in Disney World at the same time We are most likely going oct. 30- nov. 3. Contemopary or Poly....still undecided. Anyway, I am thinking about booking the Hyatt anyway. What if we have a late flight? We normally get lucky with the prices out of Chicago midway. The flight times are decent , if you buy early. hopefully, we wont have a problem . The radisson is making me a little nervous right now. Tjat is the only drawback to booking your cruise early....Playing the "game" waiting for flights and lodging!Does Hyatt charge your card? or just hold the info to guarentee?If they just hold, for $83 i will take it just in case we get a late flight.

The $83 internet sale is charged at the time you make the resv. I think I see if you cancel prior to 72 hrs they give you 50% back or $50 back. I can't tell. They have a rate of $145 for the Hyatt and this is guarantee only and to hold the room and they wouldn't charge the card until after 4pm the day you arrive.

Thanks minybear! Maybe we should just keep our fingers crossed that we can get that early flight and head out to the port. It would really be nice to bring our car back to avis at the radisson .Also to go to get last minute supplies that we dont want to pack like sun oil, beach toys, case of coke and beer! The hyatt idea sounded really good, though.

Either hotel you and your DH decide (Hyatt or Radision) would be fine. The only important thing is that your going to be on our cruise .

I just hope that the Radisson does not fill up either..... it's not like there arent a million hotels to choose from, but, like I said before- the radisson has an Avis desk and a shuttle to the ship. It just sounds too easy ! All that matters is that Ill be cruisin'!!!!!!!!

Unknown about the free breakfast, but I put a note within the resv that I am a gold ?? member and I didn't get membership # and to please incert # into resv so I can get all the benefits (free breakfast). I also req'ed to close to my good friend (you).

I phone the reservation line and he said that he doubts it will go down and that at that rate no breakfast! I'll be too excited to eat anyways!

I wish that I was booked, too......... I was talking to a co-worker and when I told her that I couldn't book this far in advance, she said to book Holiday Inn on the beach? How is this place? If its the one I am thinking of, isnt it old, mildewy rooms? I thought that I read a post before with complaints on this property. I am happy that you guys are set
