We will be sailing aboard the Magic on 6/14/03. What excursions do you recommend or not recommend. Kids ages will be 18 & 16 and love to snorkel. Do you really have to wear formal attire at dinner like a tux or will polo shirt and khakis do? Anyone else scheduled to go out on 6/14/03? It seems this trip is more formal than the one we did before. We did the land and sea adventure in 1999 and cruised to Nassau. Don't miss taking a water taxi over to Paradise Island to see the Atlantis. It was cloudy when we were at Castaway Cay but it was still beautiful and loads of fun. Food was absolutely delicious the entire trip. Seems there have been lots of changes though and I don't see how it could be better. I hope we enjoy being on the boat 7 days!

We are booked for the Eastern Magic on June 14 also and my 2-17 y/o's have choosen to do the 12-Metre Regatta in St Maarten and just do the Island tour in St Thomas stating they want a little time to see what's there, a little time for shopping but get back to the ship to relax and explore. They plan on going snorkeling on CC and hang on the teen beach for the day or at least that's today's decision.

We are planning on wearing formal attire for the two evenings, gowns and tuxes. We have the information to rent a tux from cruiselineformals.com and have it delivered to the ship the morning we embark. It's supposed to be in the stateroom when we arrive. The kids are actually looking forward to dressing up. My DD will be celebrating her 18th BD on Thurday night - the Captain's Gala which makes that formal evening a little more meaningful and fun.

The kids have decided to wear sundresses and polo's w/ khakis the other evenings. We are certainly looking forward to the time together (as much as you can w/ teens) and relaxing before she's off to college in July.

Formal wear is optional, but you will probably be more comfortable dressing up in some manner.

We took the Pinel Island Snorkel Tour and the Doubloon Snorkel Tour. They were both good, next time I will probably venture out on my own.

The food is better, the ports are better and the cruise is better. Enjoy!:bounce:

We'll be cruising on 6/14/03 also...we went the same time last year and loved it, so are going again at the same time! We went to Coki Beach in St. Thomas...wonderful snorkeling...my kids were 9 & 11 then and had never snorkeled before and loved it! Tons of fish to see and a beautiful beach. We only stayed a few hours but wish we had stayed longer. This trip we plan on going on the Golden Eagle Catamaran trip in the am...this board has had wonderful things to say about it. We will also dress for formal night, but the guys will wear suits and ties....fancy dresses for myself and daughter... Counting down the days!
