We are travelling on the Eastern 7 day, and wondered about any suggestions about booking excursions on our own rather than Disney. Any suggestions of must-do's????

You can rent a car from Budget or Avis within walking distance of where the Magic docks in St Thomas. Drive to Red Hook to catch the car ferry over to St John and explore the island and different beaches on your own. Trunk Bay is very nice, but there are many other beaches just as beautiful and far less crowded.

You can pack a lunch and have a picnic right on the beach.

I think I've finally decided (although I have two days to change my mind) that we'll be doing our St. Martin and St. Thomas excursions on our own. We'll most likely rent a car on both islands. Just hitting a beach on St. Martin, touring the island and shopping. And on St. Thomas we'll take the car to Coral World, Coki Beach and of course, shopping! :teeth:
