I would love to hear what kind of excursions you have done with a small child. DD will be one week shy of her 4th birthday on our cruise.

We will be stopping in St. Thomas and St. Marteen.

Thank you!!!

We did no excursions with DD3 and and DD4. There are few things young children can participate in and I felt that we would have better luck doing something on our own. We went to Great Bay Beach in St. Maarten and to St. John while in St. Thomas. I am sure other posters will have some good suggestions, but don't forget, many of the excurions can be booked more cheaply on your own.

We did the See and Sea in St. Maarten. Our kids, 4 and 7 really enjoyed the semi sub portion, seeing a TON of sea life!

Shopping stop was short so acceptable for the kids!

We were on the Eastern Magic Jan '03 and took DS 5 and DD3 on the Coral World excursion in St. Thomas. They both loved it and we had a great family time. They got to pick up starfish and sea cucumbers and look at sea turtles. The bus ride was fun - just make sure you put them on the inside because it has open sides. I would definitely do this again. It also included an island tour. Well worth the money.
