HI,
When the boat docks in the ports on the Eastern Carribbean, what is thereto do that is within walking distance to the boat?

Also, do you walk off the boat or do you have to take a smaller boat into land?

It depends... on where and when you are there. St. Thomas we tendered in (most of the time you dock). St. Maarten docked right there. St. Maarten there is a beach (Great Bay beach) close by with lots of shopping. St. Thomas also has lots of shopping very nearby. Castaway Cay you dock and everything beachy is there.

We docked at both St. Maarten & St. Thomas. No tenders. St. Thomas has Havensight Mall right at the dock. Some of the best shopping is right there. I don't really remember that much about St. Maarten though.
