EASTER WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - week 1

Had my first week weigh in this morning....and I lost 2.5lbs!!!:cool1: I am pretty happy! Now the workouts will start and hopefully I will keep it up! Thanks WISH group!:grouphug:

Is there an "official" weigh in day or can we just have our own?
 

Everyone is doing great! Today is not my official weigh in, but I took a little peak and was pleased with what I saw!!
 
Hi! I weighed in today and was up .2 :( So sorry to start the challenge off on a downer! I'm off tomorrow to WDW so I'll be doing tons of walking!

OhMom, I won't be here for next week's weighin. But I'll try to catch up when I get back!

We just got back a week ago----and I lost 7 pounds while on Vaction( we were away for 18 days)---
Take advantage of all the walking---I've been a couch potato since I came back---

Thanks for the inspiration! I would love to come home down. The only time I ever did that was when I got a stomach bug while there! Yuck! And I'd prefer to skip that!:rotfl:
 
I hate to be brief but I only have a quick minute, weighed in tonight and I am down 1 pound, so I am 1/6 in the Easter challenge.
 
Can I please join up too! Please put me down for 8 by Easter. I hoping for 10 but I'll settle for 8! ;)
 
I am down 1/10 - had this number for 3 days in a row so calling it a pound down.

Thank goodness last night I had my no eating after 7pm rule - I would have eaten everything in site! It was my first real wo after WDW - H2O aerobics class and she worked us - well guess I put my all into it - for 50 minutes but I am in the water and extra 15 before she arrives and I do "jogging" laps until she starts class - I was famished!!! Had some healthy dinner and made a nice cup of hot tea and watched the 2nd night of 24 :-)

fofinia and anyone else not seeing a loss (me) -- we'll hang in there! :tink: for a happier result next week!! Have fun in Disney! it's ok to post when the results aren't positive, that's reality. being REAL is huge in this whole journey and we will all have weeks that don't bring the results we hope for. but all in all it helps refocus and stay aware of your decisions

we'll take me -- i actually thought i'd see a slight loss, as i sit here feeling my middle hang over my jeans again. it wasn't doing that before the holidays!:scared1: anyhoo-- i stepped on my scale and it was acting like the battery was dying, you know faint read-out, slow. i WI three times and each time was .5 lbs more than the last! i'll take the avg. which was a maintain for me. i'm getting a new battery before next Wed :rolleyes1

lillygator -- there is no 'official' WI day, just use your own and post during the week. if you don't have one, just decide on one. :) i did that b/c some folks go to WW meetings, etc and it doesn't always fall on the same day

gotta take DD to school now -- did make it through my yesterday OP - here's today :yay: :yay: :yay:
 
I'm only down .5 this week. That puts me at .5/15. I guess its a start.

Ok - my weigh in was today....down 1.5 (total for January 3lbs! YEAH!)
 
I wanna join in to please. Maybe this will help kick my butt into gear. Put me in for 40 lbs...I know it's alot but I know I can do it!!!:scared:
 
I'd like in to, I need something else to motivate me and having to report here weekly may just be a good motivator! Put me down for 20, I weighed in yesterday at JC and I was down 2 lbs from last week! Slow and steady...
 
You can mark me down for 2.2 pounds lost. Thanks for starting this challenge. I love to check in and see how others are doing also, helps to keep me motivated to know I'm not alone.
 
good morning -- updated post #1 here

took DH to a BBQ joint for dinner last night, i had about 1000 calories saved up for the day and i'm sure i ate them! i ordered a pulled pork sammich and it was HUGE! i didn't eat the bun, just the meat and slaw. yum-o!

then we got home and DDs dished out PIE for everyone. he had brought one home from work that someone given him -- i picked at it. it was after 7 p.m. and i really didn't even want it but didn't want to disappoint them. duh! i should've just said ' no thanks' no biggie -- but i didn't. ok -- moving on

i'm so impressed with all the LOSING going on here already!! whoop whoop!:banana: :banana:

today i'm heading off to my FC for an interval TM workout, then i'm working from 11 - 7 p.m. -- i'm going to have to plan all my food and take it with me. bad thing is i sit at the front desk from 5 - 7 p.m. so i'll have to just eat things discreetly, which is fine, but then i'm done for the day. so i guess i better make sure i have a big late lunch!
