Hi All!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have. Here's the situation:
Family of 4 (DS 10 and DD 13) will be going to Universal for the first time arriving the Thursday before Easter and departing one day later, on Friday.
We have reservations for the Royal Pacific, and were planning on checking in early on Thursday, using the front-of-the-line pass all day, and then again on Friday until late. We were planning on buying 2 day park-to-park tickets.
Here's where I would like your opinions. While we have been to Disney many times and know how to accomplish much on crowded days, we're complete and total novices with Universal. The most recent podcast where they talk about dealing with parks on crowded days has me a bit freaked out, and I'm concerned we will be totally frustrated if Universal is as close to as crowded as they describe Disney was during Christmas week.
Between the cost of the room and 4 two-day park-to-park tickets, the total cost is close to $1,000.00. So, should we go and use front-of-the-line with a well planned strategy (going to WWOHP one morning realizing the front-of-the-line isn't good on FJ), or should we cancel these two days altogether and come back some other time?
Thanks again in advance for any help,
Scott
