Easter Week

Anyone have experience booking DVC Easter week? Would be in the 7mo window. Did you wait list? What was available for you in previous years?

Yes, multiple times, including this year. We booked our home resort at 11 months and switched to OKW at 7 months for 2 years and stayed at our home resort another year. I have been on a waitlist for an AKV Kidani 1 BR, but I just WL about a month or six weeks ago, on a whim, and that's not going to come through I'm sure. There are only isolated nights open at AKV. SSR still has availability for the week before Easter though.

It is easy to get rooms at WDW Easter week, which is not a high DVC demand time, at 7 months out other than usual suspects (AKV value and concierge, BWV standard and boardwalk view, BLT standard view, and possibly studios at BCV and VGF). As with most times of year, it is a lot more difficult if you mean booking at the last minute like now for this Easter.

We have stayed over Easter several times staying at OKW and Saratoga because of the lower point totals. We have never had an issue booking at 7 months at these two resorts over Easter.

And believe it or not, my WL came through today for the AKV-K 1 BR standard view. We are 33 days out and 3 or 4 of the 7 days we wanted have not been available.

By the way, ruddydvc, the 1 BR standard at AKV-K is less points than the OKW 1 BR. We got 27 points back.

I was able to book AK for Easter weekend and had no trouble with it.
