I checked WDW official site. The week before Easter and the week after Easter MK is open 8-midnight. Expecting some crowds!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Does this mean that emh hours will make park open till 3am for onsite guests?

Thanks for letting us know - heard it here first! I thought sleeping til 7am was looking too good to be true on my itinerary - we never sleep past 6am on a Disney trip! I have planned a mid trip late morning and I am forcing myself to keep it this time.... no matter how tempting it is to get up and beat the crowds..... I WILL let my family sleep at least one day... I will... I will... I will!

Pretty funny! Yes, I love to beat the crowds, too. Dh asked me yesterday if we could slow down the pace "just a tad" this trip. We made a late brkfst PS at Crystal Palace our 2nd morning. If we get there at opening we'll have almost 3 hours before we eat.

Maybe I can reset dh and ds's watches and the clocks in our room and convince them it's actually an hour or 2 later than it really is. Yeh, that'll work!

I just asked my DH what he would consider "sleeping late" for this trip. Mind you, on the weekends at home he sleeps til 10am or so easily. :sad2: He told me 8am would be sleeping in! Have I got him trained or what? He hates to wait in line, and knows that if he does what I tell him, the lines will be tolerable! :smooth:

Wow! And Epcot FW's going to be open 8 AM-9 PM during our entire visit (8-midnight on EMH). Plus MGM will be open 8 AM-10 PM many of the nights we'll be there, including the 23rd when we'll be at the 7:30 Fantasmic dinner pkg. show.

Was planning to try out EMH morning at MK on Friday, 3/25, but now that'll be 7 AM!!!! Oh my Gosh!!!

Sounds like the parks are going to be packed. Looks like the possibity of parks reaching capacity and closing. Those going better have a plan and get to the parks early. Sounds like PS are a MUST--unless you do like to eat counter service all of the time.

i am actually unhappy about this.....my silly husband is insisting on 8 hours sleep a night....i am trying to sell him on the go early, midday nap, go back late plan, but he won't buy it. I was really happy when the parks were opening at 9, now we will have to be up by 6 am to get to the parks at opening, so either it's no fireworks for me (my absolute favorite thing) or sleeping in and getting to the park later when it is psycho busy...and of course I am teacher and he can't take off in the summer, so here we are stuck......oh well, i know we will have a good time anyways

Well, first I was excited and then not so excited. I love evening and hate early mornings, but the comments about the parks closing get me all upset! I want to go where and when I want to go!! I also don't want to tie myself down to all those PS's. I want to be FREEEE! It's my vacation for goodness sakes. I live by a clock every other single day, hour, minute of my life, including weekends. I don't want to do that on my vacation. Anyone else feel like that?

I feel that way too. I'm going the first week of April, so I don't know yet if the hours will be extended. I have only made one PS and that is ALL I'm going to make. I hate feeling pressed for time and trying to make it somewhere at a certain time. I have a very loose itenirary planned but will just go with the flow. We have 7 days, so I figure we will get to do most if not all that we want to do. If not, all the more reason to go back again.............and again...........and again...........and again.........and again............ :rotfl2:

We planned to go to MK on friday 3/25 too and use the extra magic hour in the am. Now that they will open at seven, what time should we get there. 6:45ish? We can get more in before we take the keys to the kingdom tour which starts at 930. Woo hooo!

Will MK's evening EMH truly be midnight to 3am!???

Yup, same thing happened during President's week last month and folks posted here that they had a ball touring MK at 2 and 3 AM! As for us, we'll be fast asleep! Zzzzzzzzzz

This is our first trip so I am now confused. So are there still EMH for the week before and after Easter? If so, is it the same days and parks that was listed before this time change?

EPCOT opens at 9:00 everyday, MGM as well. What calendar are you looking at?

OH man, I am going to have to double up on my Prozac for this trip. :rotfl2: I figured it would be packed, but I have a feeling it's going to be a lot more packed than I thought.

Deep breath, deep breath...........LMBO
