Easter week or Memorial Day week?

Hi all. We've been during both weeks in the past, but it's been a long time and so much has changed. I'm a teacher, so we're limited to times when kids are not in school. We can either leave on Good Friday and stay through the week of Easter, or leave the Friday before Memorial Day and stay through that last week of May. Which would you do? Crowds are the main concern...is there a significant difference in the weather?

(We used to go about once a year, but we haven't been since Toy Story Land, Avatar, and Star Wars have all opened, so I feel like a newbie all over again!)

Thanks for any help!

The weather is warmer in May but it’s not a huge change. Crowds are higher during Easter week. The week following Memorial Day should be lighter crowd-wise; probably moderate IMHO.

Thanks, y'all. I was kinda thinking that May might be a tiny bit slower, buy Kenny the Pirate's crowd calendar shows it a little heavier. Is there a go-to crowd calendar that people are using these days? (I used to swear by Josh at easyWDW, but I think he stopped doing them some time ago.)

The only crowd calendar that I am aware of that uses data instead of tribal wisdom and guessing is Touring Plans.

Easter is bananas. Memorial Day is merely busy. I believe the weather difference is meaningful; I went the first few days of June last year at it was HOT.
But weather is hit or miss. Easter crowds are a guarantee.

I have done both. We haven't gone during Easter again. We regularly choose the week of Memorial Day or the week after. It is a better crowd. Easter was too heavy for us. Summer crowds have been lighter than normal during the past couple of years.

We were there the last week in May last year. The crowds were pretty manageable. It was quite warm though. We were told it was "unseasonably" hot (95+). As long as you are prepared for the possible heat, I would go for the May time frame.
