Okay, we just bought a pop-up and are planning a trip for 2007. My youngest dd will be 13 on April 7th, which just so happens to be the day before Easter. We promised to take her to Disney and Sea World for her birthday. I told her that we may have to wait until the end of May because the crowds would probably be too bad around her b-day. So, for those who have been to the Fort at Easter or Memorial day, which is better (as far as crowds and weather)?

Memorial week end can be so hot and crowded. I would go in April. I think the parks are crowed at both times. But the weather maybe more enjoyable in April then May.

I agree with grumpy, go in April, the weather is perfect but it will be crowded. As you can see, that's when we always go ( spring break ). Sorry we'll miss you, we'll be on our way home that weekend after having stayed 11 days at FW. Have fun. ;)

I'm just having a hard time deciding which is worse: Easter/Spring Break crowds or Star Wars/Flower & Garden Festival/Memorial Day crowds. :confused3

We spend 3 months every year at Ft Wilderness, now that we don't have to go to work. Before that we went every other year during school vacations. One Easter we were on Main St. when it stopped. It was people gridlock. We have never seen it so crowded. We have never been there Memorial Day, but Easter is too busy for us.

April has mega crowds, but the weather can be very do-able. Around 75-90 daytime.

May will be very warm 90-94 and the crowds would be less.

What means more to you? Even when WDW is at it's crowdedness, it's still quite do-able.
