Just thought I'd share my dining experiences from this past week.

Liberty Tree Tavern - we visited in December when it reopened. We really enjoyed it so my daughter asked to return on this trip. They were running 30 minutes behind and there were a lot of cranky people milling around the waiting area. We were seating in an L shaped booth right next to the kitchen entry/exit which wasn't ideal, but it is what it is. The service was SLOW. Our server was very nice, but watching him work, it was obvious that he couldn't multi task so that made things even slower. In any case, the food was slightly less appetizing than our last visit. The portions were much smaller (which was fine since in December it seemed wasteful). There also wasn't any corn or Mac and cheese this time (sadness). For dessert we got the cranapple tart and enough ice cream to feed about 5 people. That was ok by my daughter. LOL Overall it wasn't worth the long wait and slow service.

Be Our Guest - We did breakfast in December here as well. We enjoyed it, but definitely feel like it's a "one and done" restaurant. That being said, there was a 7:30 PPO breakfast available the week before we went so I grabbed it. We have never done a PPO meal before and it was worth the experience of feeling like you have the park to yourself. Not sure I would do it again as it made us miserable for the rest of the day (even with a break), but fun to feel like you have the park to yourself. Daughter had the croissant donut and I had the kids bacon and eggs. That with the pastries is more than enough for us. We also grabbed a Masters cupcake since we had been dying to try it. Not worth it. It actually tasted bland.

Earl of Sandwich - This definitely lived up to the hype. The line was long and there was only one person taking orders, which stunk, but the food was fantastic. I had the cobb salad and my daughter had the chicken ceasar wrap. Both were fantastic.

Chef Mickey's - This is somehow a favorite for my daughter. I scored a last minute 8pm dinner so we headed over. The food was SLIGHTLY better than previous visits, but I do chalk the whole meal up to the experience. We both ate the carved turkey (slightly dry), mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and I can't remember what else. The raspberry ginger mojito was delicious though. :)

The Wave - Another one that lived up to the hype. We had breakfast here and the service was excellent. The food was great, but the eggs were a little running. Otherwise everything was hot and fresh and delicious. I had bacon, eggs, biscuit and lots of fruit. Daughter as mostly the same. Oddly enough, the restaurant was half empty but they were turning people away at the podium which was weird.

Rosie's All American Cafe - We were waiting for RnR Fast Passes so we stopped to have lunch here. It took 45 minutes to order and get our food which was ridiculous. I had a burger and my daughter had chicken nuggets. The food was good, but definitely not worth the wait. We also had the BB8 cupcake (lemon with buttercream icing and chocolate rocks) which was AWESOME! I know the park was crowded, but it still should not have taken this long.

Trail's End - My husband was returning from a trip to Miami so we snagged a last minute dinner here. The whole vibe of the campground was super relaxed and fun. The kids just ran and played made up games and everyone was included. It was nice to see this after the hustle and bustle of the parks. We had not eaten here before and felt like it was a hidden gem! We had pulled pork, corn, cornbread, salad, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and an ungodly amount of desserts. We were actually sick when we left because we ate way too much. I also had a strawberry lemonade moonshine cocktail which was great. We would highly recommend this place!

Beaches and Cream - We had been wanting to eat here for a long time but ADRs seem hard to come by. The restaurant is TINY so now I understand why. We arrived at 12:30 for a 1pm reservation because I misjudged the time it would talk to walk to IG and over to the BC. We could see empty tables inside but were told they couldn't check us in until 10 minutes prior. They were also turning people away at the door. at 12:50 I checked in and they gave me a buzzer even though I was the only person sitting 2 feet away from them. Then at 1pm, they buzzed me and took us inside. Again, there were empty seats. The food and service were great and we really enjoyed out meal here. I had the turkey and smoked gouda sandwich and my daughter had the burger. We split a milky way sundae which was enormous and could have served 4. We left there stuffed and happy.

Teppen Edo - My daughter had been begging to eat here. The place was packed but they were very efficient. Our chef (is that what you call them?) was hard to understand and not all that entertaining. We found ourselves watching the show at the other tables more than our own. The food was fine, but definitely not worth the price. I had the miso soup and daughter had the tempura to start. The tempura was cold and tasted like it was made hours prior. We both had the chicken for dinner which was fine but nothing exciting.

Overall nothing was terrible. Some things could have been better but we walked away from the trip feeling happy with our choices and experiences.

Thanks for the reviews!

I would not wait that long for QS. But I normally book trips for non peak times & eat during off times for lunch & dinner so I usually don't run into that issue.

I have The Wave on my list of to-do's for breakfast so am looking forward to that!

To me, it seems like the standard food on the menu at B&C is average & maybe it would be better to stop in for ice cream sundaes instead. But that turkey sandwich does sound good! Is the turkey deli meat or more like a carved turkey?

We ate at Liberty Tree tavern a couple days ago for lunch. The kitchen was very very slow. The waiter was hustling like crazy to all his tables and he apologized for how slow the kitchen was. We were seated right away and didn't mind having a place to rest but it had to affect people's wait times to be seated down the road. My pot roast was yummy. Daughter liked the Freedom pasta or whatever they called it. We shared the ooey gooey toffee cake which I have been wanting to try. It was super rich and yummy. Daughter thought she would not like it and ended up loving it.
We ate at mama Melrose with Fantasmic tickets for lunch yesterday. They brought entrees before appetizers. I sent them back. The waitress even delayed entry of our entree order but they messed up somehow and forgot to do the apps. Then the waitress disappeared a long long time before she came back to put in dessert order (which you can't choose so not sure why it wasn't in automatically although we probably would have gotten it before appetizers lol. ). Anyway she said she was on an excursion to find rice milk for someone and had to go pretty far away. We didn't really mind but were there a pretty long time. Our food was ok. Not great but not bad. I had chicken parm and daughter had pasta with marinara and meatballs. We did succeed in getting our favorite front row spot for Fantasmic (probably helped by the rainstorms that threatened delay or cancel of the show).
We actually enjoyed Skipper Canteen and had skipper Chris who was constantly throwing out jokes. We really liked him. We stopped on a whim and were immediately seated in Dr Falls room which was lovely (butterfly table) dtr loved mac and cheese though she wasn't a huge fan of he beef. The rice noodle bowl was pretty good. We would probably eat here again.

Why did the breakfast make you miserable all day? Just too early? or was the food that bad? (can you tell I have a PPO reservation at BOG and am trying to decide if it's worth it?)

And thanks for the other reviews--sounds like lots of yummy (and just ok :) ) food!

It was carved turkey, not deli turkey. It also had fried onions and jalapeno cranberry jam. I had the jam on the side as I don't like jalapenos. I was too afraid to try it even thought the waitress was trying to convince me it wasn't bad. LOL

Just too early. We always talk about doing RD, but we are just not morning people. It was definitely fun to be in the parks early, but killed us the rest of the day (exhaustion). Food is good. Not overwhelming or really worth the $24 per person, but as a an experience, it's definitely worth it.

Did you see them filming there on Friday morning? I was wondering if it was for a commercial.
