If you are looking for a late-breaking rental car for Easter week (4/3-4/11) and can go with a compact, Enterprise has an excellent deal right now from MCO.
I just booked a Compact for $128.XX/week=$206.XX with taxes and fees for 8 days! We were originally planning to drive since we'll be off-property and will need a car. This pushed us to pull the trigger and get flights last night, adding 2 full days onto our vacation time (and saving about 30+ hours of round-trip drive time!).

Are you using a special code or something? I'm coming up with a weekly rental cost of $552 for the same general time period (starting 4/1).

No, no special code or discounts. By booking online, you are eligible for a free upgrade, if available at pick-up.
Yikes! That is a huge difference in cost! If there is any way to use Disney transportation or a cab the first day or 2, you would still save money (though lose a couple of hours picking up mid-trip). I hope that you can figure something out. I also priced pick up 4/2 evening and was getting the same $128.XX number, so I guess somewhere between 4/1 pm and 4/2 pm is when the rate changes.

I was planning to use ME and Disney, but thought your rate was too good to pass up. No worries!

That was our original plan if we flew, as we're staying at POP before we can check into the timeshare on 4/4, but were thrilled to find this rate for the whole trip.
If you really want a car and are open to getting a cab back to MCO on 4/3, it's still a great rate, for just the cost of cab fare. Even staying on grounds, I still like the idea that I "can" control travelling when and I where I please, without always having to rely on DT. However, this is our first trip without kids, so we may find the car less necessary...but we're not out a lot of $$$ this way either!
