Easter week blackout

I don't see that last year Easter week was blacked out but is it possible there will be no codes during this time period? We went last year and got a great room rate on April 4th. It is my daughter's birthday week LOL which coincides with my vacation.

If not I will likely take her out of school for a week in early May but I far prefer to do when she has time off

The week leading up to Easter 2014 was blacked out, but there were deals all around it. I'm so positive because my exact days were blacked out lol. However, orbitz/cheaptickets allowed a promo code so I booked through them.

I got a pin code last week, and Easter week was blacked out. Am new to all this stuff, so I have no idea if the next offer will be the same. Good luck to you though!

Dates around Easter 2014 were most definitely blacked out. I went through Cheaptickets to get a room only discount for Good Friday.

My disney dates last Easter were April 13-19 with Easter being on April 20. I'm pretty sure there were deals up to April 12. Then the black out frame (my dates!). Then new deals starting shortly after Easter Day, maybe a week or so later I can't remember for sure. No worries about resorts being crowded though (ours have been low occupancy the last couple of years). Lots of speculation it's because people aren't willing to pay the high rack rates nowadays. Easter week was very fun this year! Weather was great and crowds weren't bad at all. 2015 may be different due to an earlier Easter coinciding with end of March spring breaks.
