Easter Week and activities

We are travelling from March 23rd to April 3rd.
Hoping to stay at Dolphin with a discount.
Can anyone suggest a good EAster dinner spot and/or activities related to EAster???

We stayed at the Swan last Easter and loved it! We did our own egg hunt in the room and then had a late brunch at Chef Mickey's. A WORD OF ADVICE: Get up early EXACTLTY 90 days before Easter and and dial the reservation # at 6:58A.M. I followed advice from these boards for last Easter and held for a few minutes on my first try. I ended up with the 2nd last spot for Easter Brunch at Chef Mickey's!!! There was a special buffet featuring breakfast and lunch/dinner items, and the price wasn't bad at all. (From the Swan/Dolphin, you will need to take a bus to the MK and hop the monorail to the Contemporary from there.)

Also, the S/D has an egghunt in the early afternoon on the beach between the resorts.

Lastly, Epcot has an egghunt -I think it was by the Land- that you need to sing up for at that sight. They don't advertise it. I heard about it here. We even called the park fron the Swan to inquire about it, and were told that it didn't exist! But sure enough, we walked right by it and got in! You should try to sign up early, as the spots go quickly.

...Oh, yeah..."Mr. Easter Bunny" signs autographs in the MK throughout the Easter season.

For this easter 2004 we had breakfast at the cape may buffet. It was not a good experience. I did a dining review. Our server, betty, seemed to be generally annoyed to be working the holiday, always disappeared, didnt give us drink refills promptly, we werent too impressed with the food and lastly goofy, although, accidently wacked me in the face with his nose. I was stinging in my face and it really bothered. I could have used a tylenol, but didnt feel like going all the way back to the swan. The only good thing was they had a great minnie and mickey dressed up in the lobby with a great photo op. We spent the day at epcot. Really uncrowded, but we were looking for mary poppins and they said, oh no because of the alice tea party she has moved etc. You can sign up for the tea party in england. I really dont know if there was a charge or not. Also in france was suppose to be belle and the beast, but we got frollo and esmerelda, huh? Saw pooh countless times etc. For dinner we went to hollywood and vine at mgm. It was really busy. We wanted the fantasmic pkg, but it was sold out, so we just did the buffet. I see alot of resorts had hunts etc, but only for resort guests 12 and under I think. We did see a great display of huge chocolate easter eggs outside chef mickeys by the concourse steakhouse, my ds are older so they are not too interested in the holiday. You can buy and order made up baskets the night before, but they are not cheap. We saw the table at poly and I think the swan gift shop had some too. If you want to eat anywhere that week make a ps before you leave, it was crowded etc.

bumping for more ideas for Easter.

I'm travelling alone for the first 4 days, including Easter Sunday, with three kids (will be 9, 6 & 4). Right now, we're staying at Pop Century. Any ideas for breakfast/dinner? Activities?

Some of the hotels will have an egg hunt on Easter Sunday for their guests. The parks do nothing special. We stayed at the PC for one night this past Easter, and they had Easter baskets available to purchase at the food court (you could personalize them). I would also stay away from MK, and go to another park for the day.

We always have dinner at Cafe Cape May at Beach Club for the past three years on Easter Sunday, and have always had a wonderful dinner. They usually serve dinner all afternoon/night. Just make your reservations early!
