Easter vs Christmas how different are the crowds?

I took the kids during Easter. It was crowded but not too terrible. I am thinking of going back for Christmas is it any worse then?

The weeks before christmas aren't any worse than Easter, but the week between Christmas and New Years- Whew!! Super crowded!!!

Ever get in one of those really crowded places where you could only move in the direction the whole crowd was moving? That was our WDW experience a few years ago the week between Christmas and New Years. Never again.

that's exactly it. I actually thought, you know, if there was an emergency, I'd be dead. The crowd after the parade was actually scary big. If you're going for the christmas experience, definately go BEFORE Christmas. The week of and till New Years is something I'll never do again. Especially because you get the same experience earlier in the month.

I have been earlier inthe month. Took DS out of school too many days this year want to avoid that next year.
