Easter Time Question from a Single Traveler

I am going to be off site for Star Wars Celebration on Easter weekend, but am seriously considering going to Disney World on Easter Sunday and Monday (April 16th and 17th). The plan would be to see If I could handle a peak time at Disney World. Would focus on DHS on Easter Sunday to see SWAGS and Easter Monday on Epcot.

Here are the questions I have related to Easter Time:

-How much earlier should I be at Rope Drop?

-What are some good places for Mid-Afternoon breaks because I can't go back ten miles to my I-Drive resort?

-With the focus being SWAGS on Easter Sunday, Should I wait until after 5 PM to arrive at DHS? Does DHS close for Capacity that week?

-Are there any Easter events that happen in Epcot or DHS?

-Would I be better off with a Park hopper on a two day trip? I know DHS will not be a full day park for me because I'm not a thrill ride person.

I would recommend being in your park of choice on Easter before most churches let out so you don't get caught up in traffic. So maybe 11:00am at the latest. Rope drop is best. MK is the most capacity prone park, but there is reduced capacity at DHS right now with all the construction.

As far as a hopper goes, it depends on what you prefer. Even with an AP I very rarely hop. It's not my thing. But if you want the flexibility then go for it. The nice thing is you can wait to add the PH option until you are sure you want it.

Any of the Epcot resorts can offer a respite from the parks for an hour or two. There are some nice lounges if you need refreshment or book an ADR at a resort restaurant for lunch.
