Hi this will be our first trip to the world for easter! I know there will be big crowds....I'm planning to go to ak for easter sunday because I thought mk might have bigger crowds. Is there any type of easter parade or anything that may make me reconsider ak??? In general, for the overall week, will anything be different than usual? I have lots of questions, am so excited about going away on a holiday week and i don;t want to miss a thing!

I don`t think so but, their are many other interesting things to do their

I was hoping there would be an Easter egg hunt at one of the Hotel restaurants again - anyone heard of anything please?
Cheers,
Lynn

We went to an egg hunt on the grounds of CBR. Kids had alot of fun.

Last year we were at POFQ and they had an amazing candy scramble. My kids had a blast. It was very well organized, and there was plenty of candy for all! I think that many resorts did something similar. We spend Easter morning at the resort, then went to Epcot for dinner. Worked out great! :goodvibes

I think AK is a very good choice for Easter. My family went for Easter in 2003 and will be returning this Easter , AK was very peaceful and relaxing had a wonderful day. I think most of the resorts have some sort of candy hunt w/ the Easter bunny. MK does not have a special Easter parade. Have fun planning .... ;)

We went last year during easter and were going again this year too!!! I thought the only park that was REALLY busy and packed, was the Magic Kingdom! We took advantage of the early park hours and went to that park first and when it got to be too crowded (sea of people), we took advantage of our park hopper and went to another park for the remaining day.

I also remember at Epcot, they had a free tea Party w/ Alice in wonderland . Dont know if they will have it this year?? It was where the British Invasion play...

We went to WDW this past Easter for the first time. On Easter Sunday we did Magic Kingdom and found it to be less crowded than we expected. We went back to MK on that Tuesday and found the crowds to be much greater. We accomplished more on Easter. As for any parades or such, we were kind of disappointed. We were hoping they would have had an Easter parade. We did not stay on Disney property, but I believe some of the resorts had some events. But the parks themselves didn't do anything special.
