Easter Parade

I am planning to be down the week before Easter. Is there any way to find out when the parade is being taped. I called a few years ago because I wanted to be there for parade but I was told they don't know exact date. I can't believe that because they have stars scheduled to preform.

They know You might not be able to find out from Disney, your best bet would be to get an answer from someone who has been there in previous years.
As with the Christmas parade, if you watched it, it said 'Live' from WDW. It really means that it is taped 'Live'. They had a guest appearance with Ravon Simon(sp?), she was at DW when we were there before Thanksgiving. I hardly doubt it that she would have been there all that time.

We've been there for the taping of the Easter Parade ~ my oldest DD was chosen to be in it and met and spent a short time with Ben Savage, (Boy Meets World) who was hosting it that year. We will be there again this year for it - I'm sooooo excited. Although I'm not sure of the exact day, (my guess would be the Wednesday or Thursday before Easter) it is definitely taped the week before ~ it is not "Live" as they say it is when they show it on television because we were home and were able to see DD in it. I'll be happy to look through my old trip journals and let you know what day exactly!

I believe they stopped broadcasting the Easter Parade several years ago. I remember the 1999 special had (up and coming recording artist) Britney Spears, but I don't remember seeing the parade since.

Is there a chance that they will start broadcasting the parade again?

I sure miss it!!

I started taping both the parades in 1992!!I have quite collection.

Between the parades and our vacation tapes whenever I need a DIS fix I just pop one in.

Almost as good as being there. (almost but not quite!!!!)
