Easter Parade???

Hiya.
I am going to Disneyworld for Easter with my mom and my brother...
the Easter parade.... i used to always watch that on TV.. i was wondering
if the parade still runs? and at what time would it be? and would it be in
MK on the same route as the other parades??

No Easter Parade at WDW anymore. To many people complained it was to much of a Chritian holiday so it's not officaly recognized. Although the merchandise says other wise.

That's a shame. I'm not sensitive about it, it was certainly a 'spring parade' with no religious theme, but it's something that some people take "Easter" vacation to go to WDW and then complain that there is an Easter parade. Go figure.

Hmmm that's interesting. No Easter Parade, yet they decorate (and have parades, etc) ALL of WDW to celebrate CHRISTmas!

I hope they don't stop that too.

There will be Easter events such as egg hunts at all of the hotels. Additionally the MK will most likely run a small Easter pre-parade prior to SADCT. The Easter Bunny will also be riding the trolley up and down Main Street as part of the Main Street Trolley Show.

A pre-parade is a small parade (a float, some characters, and some music) that runs about 10-15 minutes before the real parade.

As for the trolley show. In the mornings there is a group of 12 dancers that rides up and down main street. They get off the trolley every now and then and put on a little show. At Easter time, the Easter bunny will be riding the trolley with them. Currently it runs daily at 9:25, 10:20, 11:20, and 12:05.

we where there last Easter. We saw the pre parade for Easter. It was quite lovely. There was the bunny and some woman is beautiful bright colored dresses. Of course Easter music. I remember someone walking a cute poodle. Sorry don't remember all the details. but it was nice.

When we were there at Easter, the egg hunts were only for the resort guests staying at that resort and only on Easter Sunday.

We are staying on resort and was hoping they had activites all week, never mind, they theme parks will keep us entertained.
