Easter Parade in DL ?

Hi,

Does DL add anything to their parade for Easter?

The Unofficial Guide to DL '09 says,

"Themes for the parades vary from time to time, and special holiday parades are always produced for Christmas and Easter." (pg. 261)

I have heard that the Magic Kingdom (in WDW) used to add some special things for their parade during Easter, but I couldn't find anything about DL.

I have never seen them add anything specifically for Easter before.

Wow. I wonder if the person who wrote the guide has acutally been to DLR on Easter bc I NEVER saw an Easter parade before & I've been to DLR on Easter many times. Maybe it was something old and decided to never change it out of the guide.

I always heard that they did something. And isn't something on tv? Or is that mothers day? I'm sure they broadcast a parade but it may be from WDW.

Are you thinking about the Christmas parade? Bc that one is always aired on TV along w/ the WDW one. And they never had a parade for Mother's Day either. Hmmm...I wonder what that would look like.

Nope. Not the christmas parade! I remember watching when I was younger and it was always during the spring. I really want to say it's easter!

It says the last run was in 2000 so that'd explain why I haven't seen it recently But I am not crazy...there WAS an easter parade!

Are you definately sure, bc those pics are from WDW's MK. I don't ever remember there being an Easter parade in DL, at least not in the 21st century. WDW does many things for holidays, more than DLR, and since they have more ppl visiting, it's easy to see why they'd have more things to draw in the tourists.

If you go back and read my first post in this thread I said it was probably WDW And then you got me to thinking maybe I had imagined there being any easter parade at all...so I had to go look
