Is there an Easter Parade at WDW ?

Does it take place only on Easter Sunday ?
Does the Easter Parade perform more than once ?
Different days ?

Which Park ?
What is the approximate time of the parade ?

It sounds like a great way to spend Easter morning at WDW :goodvibes

We were at disney for our kids school break this past April, which happened to be at Easter. Although we did not go to the MK on Sunday, I do not believe there was a parade there or at any other park. In fact I don't think there was anything special going on at any of the parks. Just lots of people.

We where at MK Easter Sunday 2005. There was a mini Easter parade. It had Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, some women in very colorful "Easter" dresses. CMs walking with poodles, and things like that. Very short but really cute. Shortly after that was the Share the dreams parade. (sorry know that is'nt the correct name but my memory is failing me)

Otherwise nothing else would of reminded you that it was Easter. Just a normal magical day at MK.

We were also at WDW Easter 2005. We saw a similar mini-parade when we were at the MK a few days before Easter Sunday.

We stayed clear of the MK on Easter Sunday and spent the morning at our hotel (most resorts have games/hunts for the kids staying there) and Epcot in the afternoon. The crowds were manageable at Epcot because it's more spread out, and our kids even enjoyed a 2nd candy/egg hunt, this one was at the American pavilion in WS.

EPCOT - great idea.
This past June EPCOT had the early AM entry. We could do ECPOT and then have an Easter dinner at BEACH CLUB, Cape May Cafe or DOLPHIN, Fresh Mediterranean Market, or SWAN, Gulliver's Grill

We will be staying at the Dolphin, so EPCOT will be easy to get to if WDW is packed on Easter Sunday.

Thanks for the suggestion :goodvibes

I know that a number of years ago (6-7) my sister's band traveled down for the filming of the Easter Parade, which was filmed several weeks before Easter. But it wasn't a "real" parade per say since they were filming it. They had everybody do several takes for different camera angles. Kind of neat to see. Doesn't answer your question regarding an actual Easter Parade though.
