Easter Menu?

My small family of 7 will be served:

Ham with a side of sliced cheese for anyone who likes to make a sandwich
Scalloped/Cheesy potatoes
Green Bean casserole
Veggie tray w/ Dill dip
premade Sweet Kale salad mix
different rolls/croissants
an Eclair type dessert that my daughter is making

Small family members comes to us.
I am cooking the ham today.

Mashed cheesy potatoes. Cranberry sauce.
Caesar salad. Risotto. Stuffing. Corn.

Desert is from the others. Cheesecake and brownies with the no bake cheesecake swirled on top.

We had ours today. Lots of things served in our family for decades. Easter is a very traditional meal for us!

Ham
Mac & Cheese
Hash Brown Casserole
Country Corn Casserole
5 Assorted Salads, including an easy new one with spring asparagus tips, sliced strawberries, toasted pecans, shaved parmesan, & raspberry vinaigrette (but no Jello with veggies in it like back in the 60's!)
Deviled Eggs
2 recipes from my grandmother from the early 1930's: candied sweet potatoes and a heavy whipped cream creation with pearl tapioca, cherries, pineapple, and nuts (it's fabulous!).
Fruit & Cheese tray
Veggie Tray
Cheesecake Pie
A Chocolate Mousse Cake of my mother's from the '60's
Yeast Rolls
Rice Krispie Treats (also a tradition)
Assorted Cookies

Took me 4 days to cook it and 4 hours to devour it. Worth every minutes. This was the first year that my 94-yr old mother didn't do 75% of the food at my parents house. My 96-yr old father is in hospice at a nursing home but the rest of celebrated today and taking food to them tomorrow to celebrate Easter with them. It was important to our family to continue our traditions.

I'm at my sister's for the weekend, so it's just the two of us. We're having leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, and baked stuffed mushrooms. We are supposed to be having rice krispie treats for dessert but somehow about 1/4 of the pan has already disappeared...

It will be just youngest DS, age 34 and me. I am just recovering from a major home repair (new sewer line), so I am exhausted but I plan on having baked ham with pineapple/brown sugar glaze, mashed potatoes & gravy, steamed peas, and rolls. For dessert, carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

We are having shepherd's pie, a nice salad, and angel food cake with fresh fruit for our Easter meal for today.

My dad just passed away this month so it's just my mom, me and DH, my brother and SIL and niece (4) and nephew (1.5 months). We did Easter yesterday (Saturday)....spiral ham, rack of lamb, roasted potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans and bread. Taking it easy as emotions are still very raw. My brother is going to his in laws today. DH and I are just staying home.

We ate at McDonald's this fine Easter Sunday:rotfl2: Currently on the road.

We traveled to Cary, NC on Wednesday for 3 night concert. Got up early this morning, not feeling the best due to gin consumption at said concert.

Now in car heading south to WDW. Tomorrow night is Jiko. I think we will consider that our Easter Dinner.

I love all of your menus. Keep them coming!

Sorry for your loss. The first holiday without those that we love are very painful.

We celebrated with my parents and sister's family last night -- a non-traditional Easter dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. (I am not a big fan of ham, and she asked what I wanted. My mom's spaghetti and meatballs are a family favorite.)

We did breakfast with my in-laws this morning (bacon, eggs, pastries, etc.) My MIL did an egg hunt for the grandkids, even though the youngest is 20 now! (Apparently she floated the idea of not doing one and the 20 year old was aghast! Easter wouldn't be Easter without Grandma's egg hunt!)

Just me & the pups today. Husband out of town for work, saw the kids yesterday.
I’m going to go and rummage around the fridge shortly. BLT, cheese & crackers $ bowl of cereal are the top 3 contenders

We dyed and hid eggs in the yard, kids range from 22 - 28. It’s a tradition.

My friends mom (70s) hosts one every year for their kids and friends (50s) and grandkids (20s). The eggs are filled with nippers, candy, scratch tickets, and the golden egg which is a week at their house on cape cod. They’ve been hosting their adult egg hunt for years. It’s so much fun. We all bring food and enjoy a day together.

Scratch the lamb and mushrooms. My sister has some sort of bug and has spent the entire day either in bed or in the bathroom. I ended up picking up won ton soup for us at the local Chinese restaurant. I hope she gets better soon... and that I don't get sick. I'm glad I'm here so she's not sick and alone.

DD earned a free ham from Shop Rite and I earned a free turkey breast, but we each saved them for another time.

There were 6 of us for Easter dinner. DH, myself, both DDs and their spouses. We had baked ziti for the main course and there were plenty of assorted appetizers.
