Do you color Easter Eggs with your kids, or does the the Easter bunny color them? I heard several people say that they color eggs after the kids go to bed, We also did the eggs with the kids.

We do the eggs with our kids. They love doing it, and it's an activity that takes up some time in their day. Plus, I think they like the idea that they have "contributed" to the meal on Sunday since their eggs become deviled for our supper.

Speaking of which, I just ate one that we boiled, ya know to test it. Delicious!:thumbsup2

DD5 and I dyed a dozen today. Thank goodness I had the good sense to put a tarp down underneath the cups of color. That would've been UGLY!

The kids do them. Because it was school vacation week they had time to kill so they were done early this year. Each kid dyed a dozen eggs on Thursday. They have a blast.

We got to the IL's and color them, and leave them there. They will be hidden before we get there tomorrow, and my boys will find them, along with their cousin. The eggs will be returned to the ILs fridge, and then eaten (not by me, I don't like them).

I haven't dyed eggs since I was a little girl. I remember two years of doing so and after that, nothing. I'd actually like to do so again! Maybe I'll do it just for fun.

We colored eggs as a family a few days before Easter. I'm pretty sure that I enjoy it more than they do now at 14 and 18.:rotfl:

We always have colored eggs with the kids. Actually, we just (well DD & I) colored them tonight....Glitter eggs, then she drew faces on the non glitter ones. I think I'll make some egg salad for sandwiches, just need to remember how. Haven't had it in years, sounds good.

Our grands dye eggs w/their parents, but we also have them over week before Easter to dye eggs and do other fun holiday festivities. We have 80 eggs ready, real & plastic filled ~ after our family dinner here tomorrow, they'll all go on a fun easter egg hunt to find their treasures :goodvibes. As grandparents, we love it!! :lovestruc

Kids dye the eggs. They enjoy it. But they don't enjoy eating the eggs, so having the Easter Bunny dye them and hide them would be pointless in our house. Dyed eggs go into the fridge for mom to use on salads or make egg salad sandwiches over the next couple of day. EB hides plastic eggs filled with candy and other treats.

me and my little dyed eggs today. he was unsure of it at first then really got into it. i wrote names with the wax pencil and when he saw me do it, he had to have the pencil. so we have interesting eggs. they're kinda camo color because they were dyed about 5 times. :rotfl:

last year i had the no spill "salad spinner" type dye thing and when he'd take them out, he'd suck the coloring off the eggs :rotfl::scared:

a guy i dated was of a certain religion that doesn't celebrate holidays and when we were dating, it was around easter time. so the little girl next door came over to dye eggs with me and the guy i was dating was there. he dyed his first easter egg at 23. i still have that picture. the look on his face is priceless and so proud of his orange egg.

Cascarones, or confetti eggs, are the tradition on my family. I start saving the shells about a month before Easter. My son and I dye and stuff them a few days before Easter. Then we crack them over my husband's head. :thumbsup2

We always colored Easter eggs together. The bunny didn't bring colored eggs- just chocolate!

We dyed Easter eggs last night. My son is 24 years old and still wants to do it!! His girlfriend was here and we did them together. We tease him about it, but deep down it makes me happy that he enjoys the tradition it represents. We always did it together when he was a little boy.

No egg dying here...No one eats hard boiled eggs but me and it's really no fun to dye only a few eggs.
