DS9 who has Downs Syndrome loves to Easter egg hunt. Around here, there are usually a couple of weekends before Easter when various churches and civic groups hold hunts. We take him to as many of them as we can.
Our Spring break doesn't usually fall close to Easter, but this year it is the week prior. We had planned a trip for 3/15 - 3/23, but now I have to work out of town the 15th and 16th. I'm hoping I can persuade DH to take DS to any that are scheduled here for the 15th.
On Saturday 3/22, we will wake up in Indian Rocks Beach FL, then drive over to Orlando for the Universal Studios Mardi Gras before heading home Sunday morning. Can anyone suggest any community events in the Indian Rocks Beach area or between there and Orlando?
