Thinking of a planning a trip where we will be there on Easter. Do any of the parks or resorts hold an actual egg hunt for the kids? DD is still little and loves hunting for the eggs on Easter. Thanks in advance for any info!

The Deluxe resorts now have Candy Scrambles. Characters are on hand for meet and greets and kids can pick up candy that has been scattered upon one of the lawn areas.

This past Easter we were at the Contemporary Resort for Easter morning and they did not have a Candy Scramble, they switched back to an egg hunt. It was cute but it was very "every man for themselves"- and the age group that my middle daughter was in, which I think was 6-8 years old, was very overcrowded- she only ended up getting three eggs. They had golden eggs hidden inside of regular plastic eggs and my youngest daughter got one of those the prize was a free 30-minute rental of one of the boats, I think the small 2-seater ones, we never ended up using it. The eggs were filled with candy and little toys from Oriental Trading Company.

In addition to the egg hunt & character meets they also had several free activities available. There were arts and crafts from Oriental Trading company and and make your own snack station I think it was like dirt pudding. Last year they had sugar cookie decorating.

We also went to the Easter egg hunt in the UK in Epcot and it was different. You had to sign up and they assign you a time slot and then you went into the Maze and each kid was limited to 10 eggs. All of those eggs were filled with stickers and small toys, no candy.

The year before we went to the Candy Scramble and that experience was much better than the actual egg hunt. There's no telling what they will do this year.

We love spending Easter at Disney World, especially when it coincides with the flower and garden festival in Epcot.

There is also the Egg-stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt in Epcot which is fun for older kids and adults as well. http://www.**************.net/2016/...-egg-hunt-returns-to-epcot-walt-disney-world/

My daughter and I have done it for the past couple of years during her spring break. It is lots of fun and quite challenging at times.
