So whats everyone cooking for Easter Dinner? I was just looking for some new ideas. We usually do the ham, potato salad, veggie casseroles, etc. I would really like to try something new this year. So, what is on your menu?
It's my son's 25th birthday. He gets to pick the menu. If the weather cooperates we're having NY strip steak, potatoes, green beans (all done on the grill), fruit salad and birthday cake. If the weather doesn't cooperate, it's tacos.
Since I was young we always had a slice of boiled eggson a slice of fresh Hungarian Keilbasi topped with fresh horshradish from the Hungarian store.
Our dinner has always been ham with brown sugar glaze for dinner with scallopped potatoes, green beans (I make fresh with bacon and spatzle) strawberry jello that my nephew always makes, and sugared carrots.
My neice is making dessert so I am not sure what she will bring but in the past she has made brownie cheesecakes.
Oh, and tons of chocolate bunnies.
