:confused3 :wave2: :listen: where is everyone? are you all having trouble with very slow DIS too? yesterday was awful for me, seems to be better this morning

OK -- MINI-CHALLENGE WEEK THREE -- we kinda lost track last week? I challenge myself and anyone who cares to join me to journal faithfully and everything for 5 days ths week. starting today through friday I will report in each night a successful day of journaling so friday i can cheer LOUDLY that i made it through the week! you will be on your honor to track this yourself; but we will be HERE to help and encourage each other!!

so i'm off to log onto sparkpeople and get my breakfast journaled. i'm going to workout later this morning. i've got to get SERIOUS!:jumping1:
 
I will be weighing in either tonight or tomorrow night, just depends which day I can get to the gym. I don't keep a scale at home.

I will try to journal, but not sure it will happen all 5 days. I was better last year, but can't get motivated to journal.

This weekend I did 'okay'. We went to a Mystery dinner, so choices were limited...I did make sure the rest of my day was good. Even packed a lunch knowing that a Youth event was having pizza. The worst was my dad fixing me breakfast (fried potatoes, bacon, biscuits, sausage, gravy). I did have some potatoes and bacon. I made sure the rest of my day was just some cheerios, tortilla soup and popcorn.

I am feeling better just by knowing I am eating better, 90% of the time. Does anyone else have this happen?

Weigh-in day... lost 8.2 lbs so thats 21.2 out of 20:yay: ... (note, I have a LOT to lose, so proportionally, this isn't all that much).
 

Weighin today and I'm down 1.4, making my Easter challenge total 1.2/12. I got a new clippie too!!! It was a long time coming. I hadn't lost any weight since last september. It's been up a little down a little, up a lot down a little, yo-yo-ing for me. I'm so hoping I will be able to stick with it again and lose some more weight. Everyone here is so inspirational, it has really helped me to get back on track.

Ohmom- I'll join you for the minichallenge. I'm going to visit my brother this weekend, so I need to stay on track so I can splurge a little. And yes the Dis is very slow. I wasn't sure if it was here, or verizon, or my own computer that was slowing things up. I'd write a post and then it wouldn't post, so I'd have to log off and start all over. I'm a little computer illiterate, but did just figure out how to copy and paste, so I don't have to retype it. Good for you for working out today!!!!:cheer2: I really need to start exercising. soon, soon, soon.:guilty: :guilty:

Believe- 90% eating healthy sounds great to me. I have days where I don't eat healthy at all. I'm a snacker, and definitely snack more than I sit down with vegetables. I'm working on healthier snacks, but sometimes I need real chocolate or something salty. Good luck at weighin!:)

Denecarter- Congrats on that awesome loss!!!!!!You deserve to celebrate!!!!party: That's phenomenal!!!

I'll check back tonight- so far on track and journalling!!!!!
 
I am down 3 pounds :woohoo: so that puts me at 3/15 - i know this 3 pounds is just water weight but it is a start :)
 
I can't remember where I started two weeks ago so I'm going to be starting over. I've been losing and gaining the same three pounds for the last three weeks.

I've been sick off and on for two weeks now and just started back to the gym today. I'm going to plug along all week. Next week I'll weigh in, hopefully with a loss. :)

I've' really got to sit down and refocus, I've been very slack for over a month. I need to get back on track and make some progress. I want to be thinner and fitter this year. I want to have more energy to play with my daughter. I don't want to have to shop in the big girl section anymore, I want to be able to wear missy sized clothing again. I don't want to be unhappy with how unfit and tired I always am.
 
:wave: Molli, count me in for the mini challenge!!! I have journaled faithfully today, so one day down, 4 more to go.

Wow denecarter...congrats on such a huge loss, that is inspiring!!! Mik, congrats on your loss and new clippie, I know how much you had been up and down, so great for you!! And Disneyglobegirl, 3 pounds is great too....I don't know if I ever had a 3# loss in one week. Keep up the great work one and all!!!

I'll be back tomorrow to post my weigh in, not sure what to expect, but would love to see another pound gone. Only time will tell now.

believe -- i agree that 90% is fantastic -- you can do it! slow and steady....slow and steady :tiptoe:

dene -- WOWSER you hit the Easter goal ALREADY!! FABULOUS!!! i think you should update to a new goal::yes:: and look YOU are purple now!!

mikamah -- party: A CLIPPIE DANCE PARTY!! CONGRATS on a new clippie - it looks mahhhvalous on you

disglobegirl -- 3 pounds is 3 pounds! no matter what and if it keeps you in the losing mindset who care what it is :cool1: WTG!!

chris -- i hear ya; i have gained this month from slacking and fighting the winter blues and yadda yadda yadda. i join you on a quest to be fitter and leaner this year. i have cruise clothes that at this point i won't be able to wear -- we can do this!! it was really hard for me to get back into a FC (fitness center) swing too. in fact i drug myself in at 10:30 this morning and the associates there of course give me a "Hi Molli" and big smiles and i honestly say back to them "I really don't want to be here"............but i did it and as I left one guy said 'dont you feel better' and he's right I did. tomorrow i have to work now until about 12:30 which means i'll take my workout clothes ( I work in the same bldg as the FC) and i will soooo not want to go workout but now i've told you so i will. see, we are so good together

tiggerlover -- :tink: for a great WI tomorrow -- you are sooo close, can't you taste it? :wishgoal


ok i'm done eating for today and journaled and stayed within my cal/fat range. :faint: it's not sooo difficult and tomorrow will be even easier! i have packed a sandwich for an early lunch at work before my TM workout and I take a usual breakfast for when i get there. gee, sounds like i just go to work to eat my meals huh? not really but it's a fairly low-key environment, thank goodness :goodvibes

off to drink more water and get my comfies on!
 
Well I am definitely in for the journaling. I'm back on track now that I'm home from Disney. So today was my second day in a rown that I journaled and stayed on track. Exercised too! I know I'm going to have a gain this week from being away for 2 weeks and off plan. but I really hate to see my name in the shameful green!!!

Congratulations to all on your great losses! I want to be a loser too!!
 
I lost .5 lb this week, bringing my total to 3.5/15.

I ate out waaaayyyy too many times this week. It's back to being a good girl this week.
 
journaled and had a successful day - on to tm this AM and exercise after work AND stay OP all day too :banana:

PS - hershey "valentine" kisses on my counter yesterday - didn't even think about having one - YEA but I did have a yummy spinach salad with feta cheese for dinner ::yes::
 
I journaled yesterday. I was under in calories, just over 1000. This is something I struggle with if I eat 'healthy' 100% of the time. I have to make myself eat my calories when I am 'healthy'. I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks, but they are healthy, so the calories are less. I feel like I either eat too many calories or not enough.

I was working on exercise last night when the phone rang.....I did a little more this morning since I didn't finish last night. I will get to the gym today, which is difficult with it being so cold and needing to drag 2 kids with me.

ohMom...great job on getting to the FC, even when you don't feel like it.

DisneyBeagle...Terrific on the .5 lose.

fofinia...hope your vacation was great. I know you will do well this week.

dene...I agree a new goal is needed. Listen to me, someone who hasn't even registered 1lb yet;) My first weigh in is today, so hopefully there will be 1lb by my name tomorrow.:goodvibes

I don't normally weigh in until Wednesday but weighed in today. Lost 1 lb. So thats 2/12 for me. Need to lose 10 more by Easter but hoping for a few more than that. Congrats to you all, your doing great. BTW I never ever answer the phone if I"m working out. People try to keep you on phone then there goes your workout :rolleyes2 .
 
Well, I did journal everything yesterday, and had eaten pretty healthy, but went on a snacking binge last night after my son went to bed. I started with 2 hundred calorie packs of lorna doones, but went into a big bag of cheetos, and figure I ate about 4 servings.:sad: Soooooo today I need to be really good and stay within my daily WW points. I had even made a low point soup which I'll have for the rest of the week. Don't know what got into me. How I can be so good and on track, had a loss which should have motivated me more, and then lose control. I'm going to get some inspiration from all you great losers and exercisers here, and keep on track today!!

I broke even this week--no loss, no gain. I guess it could be worse. I'm still at 1/15.

Okay Molli! I'm not feeling the gym today but I'm getting us packed and ready to go. I've got my couch to 5K podcast and I'm getting ready to hit the road. I will make myself lift some weights while I'm there, no sense in going and not doing everything, I'm already there, right?

Thanks for understanding. It's good to know I'm not alone struggling.
 
Too many meals out during a weekend trip with friends, plus snacking at work equals a gain this week - so I'm back to 0/9. Try, try again...
 
Okay, I'm back from the gym. I did my Couch to 5K run. I also went and lifted for a half hour so I got in an hour total. I didn't want to do it but I do feel better for having done it.

Molli, how did your day at the gym go?
