Easter basket traditions?

I re use the baskets every year. I don't go overboard, candy, some small food items (goldfish crackers etc for my dd with food allergies). I then put some small items, earrings from Claires, maybe some nail stuff, and a book for my older daughter and my younger gets some small toys (not junky ones). I also wrap the baskets in the cellophane wrap (makes for a nice presentation). This year they are getting a copy of Frozen so I can't put it in the basket because which one, that wouldn't be fair? So I may place that in front of both of the baskets. They love looking for the eggs! That is their favorite part.

My kids have used the same Easter baskets since they were little. The one exception was one year their baskets were personalized Disney messenger bags for our trip.
I never went crazy for Easter, candy, a spring/summer toy and a movie was what they got.
Now that they are older I just give them candy and Itunes cards.

DD is only 3 so we haven't been doing this that long but here goes.

We have a basket she got from PBK when she was a baby and we reuse that every year. That way we avoid clutter or wastefulness.

Something we do that is unique (and I totally stole this idea from my brother) is that the Easter Bunny doesn't come overnight, he comes while we are at church. This way I can get her out the door to church without having to get up at the crack of dawn or rush her and then she can open at her leisure when we get home and have brunch. I just put everything out while DH gets her in the car for church.

We always have a couple of books and DVDs, a coloring book, and new PJ's or nightgown. A fun pair of socks, a new toothbrush, some fruit snacks and candy. Maybe a small toy like a small doll or Palace Pets type toy she's been wanting. A fun cup or mug. Most of the candy this year will be in eggs that we will hide so she has something to look for. I like the idea of sunglasses and outdoor toys too.

We reuse the baskets and we plant jelly beans the week before which grow into lollipops on Easter morning. We harvest our lollipops a d hunt for eggs. A small cheap chocolate bunny and a few things in basket. This year they will get disney gift cards.

Same basket every year. Usually filled with a couple treats and trinkets like others have mentioned- chalk, bubbles, card game, favorite candies and a chocolate bunny. When I was little though my friend got a trail of bunny dust that always led to a huge gift like a bike or a new stereo, that always threw me that people do Easter so differently.
