Easter at the Fort things to do...

Hey fellow campers, I am trying to figure out our Easter day next year and I was wondering if the Fort did anything special on Easer, egg hunt or a bunny maybe making baskets, really anything I need to know before I make some dinner ressies.

There is usually a candy scramble and Easter egg hunt.

We spent Easter at the Fort last year and will be back again this year

Fort Wilderness had a candy scramble (with a prize for each age group), a scavenger hunt (with prizes), and character meets. I think they had the Easter bunny, Chip & Dale and maybe Mickey? They also had the regular activities by the pool area.

We took the boat over to the Contemporary, too. We had brunch @ Chef Mickey but got to the resort early. There were several arts and craft stations, decorate your own cookie, and a balloon popping game (with prizes) -- all FREE. There were also character meets. Contemporary had a candy scramble, too, but our kids had MORE than enough from the Fort's scramble.

We can't wait to celebrate Easter at the Fort again!

Character Meet and Greet
8:30am–10:15am
Meet some of your favorite Disney Characters in their Easter Finest! Don’t forget the cameras and autograph books!

Easter Craft
8:00am–9:00pm
Come on out and put your artistic skills to the test with our special Easter morning craft!

Candy Scramble
9:00am
Meet in the field at Pioneer Hall for a fun twist on a classic Easter Egg Hunt and fill your Easter basket with candy and fun prizes.

Easter Games
10:00am–11:00am
Join us in front of Pioneer Hall for a chance to win lots of cool prizes by participating in any of our Easter games.

The Golden Easter Egg Hunt
11:30am
There will be a golden egg hidden within the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. A special prize will be given to the finder of this egg. The first clue will be announced in front of Pioneer Hall at 11:30am. Don’t be late!

Hoedown Dance Party

Meadows Swimmin’ Hole Jamboree
3:00pm–4:00pm
Come to the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool for our afternoon pool party filled with music, games, prizes, and tons of fun!

Mickey Tie-Dye
4:30pm–6:00pm
Join us at the Bike Barn for a chance to make your very own Mickey Tie-Dye shirt ($17 + tax per shirt)


CAMPFIRE ACTIVITIES

Purchase your pre-made Easter Basket at Meadow Trading Post or create your own. We will provide a basket, Easter grass, wrapping and a decorative bow all for $7.00 per basket. You can purchase the items that you would like to include from our shop.
