Easter at the Dolphin

We just booked the Dolphin for Easter 2004 break. I am very happy because we got a government rate and I was told that the rennovations should be completed by then. I was wondering if anyone was told that too or something different. Also, I have read that the Dolphin has lots of convention visitors. Has anyone stayed at the Dolphin over Easter week (the week before to Easter Monday) and did you experience many business folks?

We were at the Dolphin this past Easter and I really didn't notice
conventioners. There were a lot of people, but not packed. It seemed like there were mostly families.

We stayed at the Swan over Easter break 2001, and it was mostly families. The Grotto Pool got extremely crowded in the afternoon (as do most WDW resort pools at this time of day during Easter break.) If you have any problems finding chairs, simply ask the CM's at the towel cabana, they'll gladly find you some!

We love the Swan and Dolphin resorts and being so close to Epcot!

The Dolphin is excellent. Don't worry about conventioneers....they have business to attend too. It is the other Easter vactioners that will make everything crowded.

Ok thanks! We'll be one of those families at the pool in the afternoon. That's our pattern. I have never stayed at an Epcot resort, so we are looking forward to it. Usually we stay at a moderate.

Anyone ever have Easter Basket delivery?

After much thought, I decided not to purchase the Easter Basket
option at the Dolphin. The baskets were about 50.00 a peice and I didn't think my son would have liked a lot of the things. I brought items from home and stuffed disney dollars in with the candy. My son saw the Easter Bunny in the lobby as he was doing his rounds and he was happy with that.
