Hi were looking to go easter 2011 around the 9 - 11th april till 29/30 april, can be a bit flex on dates, ive had a quote for virgin (through charter) for
759 adult (3 adults as jamie 12:eek:)
638 child
These still seem a bit expensive to me makes our flghts over 5k:eek:
never paid that much before for economy....lol have had pe seats cheaper.

BA seems about the same price too, i am wondering weather to hold off or just book, easter is the only time we can do 3 weeks next year, ill have 2 kids in secondary by then so cant do any may ones raerly, and summer is normally just as expensive (and hot for Izzy)

which way do u think it will go, do i wait...?
anyone know any better deals...?

Can you be flexible on airports too? I know this is a pain, especially with young kids, but sometimes it can be worth it. Your Easter quotes for flights next year are only nominally more than I paid for our October ones this year, which I booked last May (package). You just need to see what looks manageable and when you see something that looks good, get it (and then stop looking to avoid subsequent self-torture ;)). I do think they look kind of high, but then that is how everything looks now with regard to flights. That said, they are not awful prices, especially given that you are going in April. Wayne mentioned yesterday on another post some reasons for April coming up a little more pricy than usual due to the way Easter falls next year, coupled with staggered school holidays causing a month long "peak season". He was referring specifically to accommodation packages with Disney etc, but I am sure it would have some impact on flight prices too.

Terri -we are also looking at April next year, we are also pretty flexible with our dates and the best I have found is from Birmingham indirect on the 30th March through 20th of April (coming back before Easter) coming out at £462 for adults and not much less for kids, flight prices direct are just a joke!:scared1:

i think im gonna hold off boking at that price ~ if i cant get my dates nearer the time i will rethink our plans then...
