Tuesday will be Fantastic Fantasmic!

There are several things at DHS that Mom has yet to experience. She's never seen Fantasmic for one. I've only ever seen it in Disneyland while doing the dessert package...I only hope it's as good without the chocolate.
I originally asked for a Fantasmic package at Hollywood and Vine. I'd eaten at both Mama Melrose...and just wasn't overly impressed, and at The Brown Derby which I liked but didn't want to use 2 TS credits for so I thought we'd try H&V....but the more I read reviews the worse it sounded. Mom doesn't like fruity things and I read the chicken is in a fruit sauce ...I decided to change my ressie to The 50's Prime Time Cafe for a sit down lunch and we'll pickup something to eat for dinner and get to the Fantasmic Arena early. Good! Settled! Done!
Now for the rest of the afternoon- I'll reiterate for the millionth time if you haven't been paying attention: WE ARE NOT MORNING PEOPLE. I want to ride Toy Story Mania very much and I doubt we'll get there early enough to get FP's soooooo I am resolved to waiting on the standby line.
Then.....(ominous music please) it'll be time for Mom to ride The Tower of Terror. This is my all time favorite ride and in all honesty that surprises me. I do not have a strong constitution and get sick on the Merry Go Round (true, I swear), but for whatever reason I can ride this delapidated elevator several times in a row. I think the themeing will blow Mom away...and if she doesn't talk to me for the rest of the trip...well..that might be a plus.

Rosie, you surely don't stink! As a matter of fact you crack me up. (Where's Wally to harass you when you need him?) Looking forward to your take on all things Disney. I went with my parents (and sister, and respective fathers, hubbies, and kids- 13 of us total) in April and had a blast, but missed a lot because we only had four days in the World. I now have a burning desire to do Tower of Terror...missed that one on our trip!

Yeah, my older daughter is only 11 but she's very nearly bigger than me...it's not hard to be bigger than me. I've got the short gene at 5 feet tall, and she's got daddy's tall gene...he's six feet tall. Oy.

A day off and I'm doing laundry???????

Wedneday has been set aside as a day off. We'll sleep in later than usual, maybe get breakfast sent to the room (yeah! Room Service at CSR) and then I'll don my old lady one piece bathing suit and lay my whiter than white body down on a chair by the pool. I may even wade into said pool and splash my Mother silly. I will also do some laundry ...I know, I know; "It's a vacation for goodness sakes"..but you saw all the junk I'm packing..there's no room for clothes and I'll be in big, big trouble if I get into an accident and my undies aren't clean.

For dinner I have made reservations at Cape May. My Mom is looking forward to the "clam bake". I had to break it to her that this isn't a real clam bake..there'd be no sand in the corn and no one would step on a burning hot ember.....

For some reason she wasn't too dissapointed.

Thank you..that's so sweet. But(t) let me warn you: LMAO was how I got to have a large well endowed bosom with nothing to speak of for my bottom half! That's right! I was a jolly lass, always smiling and laughing..never noticing the sloughing off of my bum... One day I turned around...and sadly..it was all gone.


I look like a cartoon now.
