Easiest way to get from SSR boat dock to....

...A) the Turf Club and B) High Rock Spring pool?

Got very lost last time!!!

Depends which direction we are coming from.

If we are at Community Hall, we go thru Turf Club, because we stop and refill our mugs at AP on the way to the dock.

If we are in the gift shop area, you can go straight out past the luggage and down the ramp.

If we are at HRS pool, we go thru Turf Club or Gift shop.

If we are in Congress Park, we skip the boat and walk over to DTD

Oh! Just noticed from the Boat Dock.......Just go inside the main bldg, and come out the other end. That is the easiest way to get your bearings until you get more familiar. All the Villa bldgs span out from the main bldg, like an open fan.

When we visited last time, we went up the path from the boat dock and to the main building. But it was very obviously the back of the building and there seemed no obvious/welcoming way in. This was over two years ago, so things may have changed, but detailed directions would be much appreciated!!

The boat dock is directly behind Turf Club and Artist's Pallet. It is kind of dark at night and you are correct that there is no obvious signage, but that is the way to go and the latest we went through it was around 11pm. Just go straight ahead to the building. You will go through a hallway and enter Artist's Pallet and just outside Artist's Pallet is the main pool.

The entrance is immediately behind the exit from the boat dock. It sounds like you came up to the doorway that leads to the back entrance into Artist Palate and by the small hidden lounge. This is the back side of the Turf Club, I'd just walk through. If you're uncomfortable you can go around either outside on the patio or cut through AP to get to the hostess stand.

We did the same thing last year. We went to the right, clear through that dumb parking lot and all the way around the building. Later we found out if we would have turned left and gone up the ramp/steps we would have been right there. While we were there, the Turf Club opened up for dining, and so we had hoped maybe with the new balcony seating and all back there, they would have added some directional signs and made the whole boat dock area more welcoming. That is something that just NEEDS to be done. It's such a cool thing to have the boats, but it does sort of feel like you're sneaking in the back door lol.

We turned left and went all the way round the building - and this was to get to Congress Park!!!

Totally agree I'm also glad it wasn't just me who had problems!!
