Easiest way to get from POR to WL

I would like to plan either a late breakfast or early lunch on our departure day at Whispering Canyon. Just wondering what is the easiest way to get there. I don't want to take the boat from MK, they say it is a short ride, but the one time I did it, it seemed to take forever. If it is too complicated, I might just plan something at the Poly instead, the monorail is much easier to deal with. I just really wanted to see the holiday decorations at the WL.

Cab. Should be around $10-15 and ~10 minutes as they are about 5 miles apart.

Otherwise, POR bus to EP(closest park to POR maybe a mile away) and catch the WL bus from there.

There is also a boat from the Contemporary to the Wilderness Lodge.

There is a bus that goes from the MK to the WL as well. You wouldn't have to take the boat.

Easiest way from one resort to another is just about always a cab. Unless you're going between two monorail resorts, or two of the Crescent Lake resorts.

OP, no matter how you go, you're going to have to changes buses/boats at a park or resort, which means waiting for your ride to show up twice on the way to WL, and twice on the way back to POR. I would count on it being at least an hour each way, which is a lot of time to burn on your departure day.

If it were me, I'd take a cab. No question.
