Easiest way to carry items to parks?

I bought a backpack with a camping stool attatched at a sporting goods store. It's worth it's weight in gold. Now, I have a place to sit while waiting for the bus, parades, in lineups for attractions etc. I take it with me on rides.

I thought Disney didn't allow you to bring camp stools, folding chairs, etc into the parks. They must have been looking the other way when you brought it in.

I know you cannot bring in a cane with a seat. Something about using it as a weapon in a riot, I heard. However, I've brought this into the parks for the last 10 years, so at least 125 park entries, with no problem. You must understand, it's a backpack. It has a metal frame, with a sling seat, but it's a backpack. I've never ever had a CM question me about it.

This board is so helpful. Thanks to everyone who has offered advise.

A hydration pack is also called a camel back. It is used while hiking, biking, and many other outdoor activities where your hands need to stay free. It is a small back pack with a rubber bladder in it that holds water, a tube then exits the back pack and can easily be drank from like a straw. We have in the past had problems with the water in them getting warm when on long hikes but for the most part they are a life saver. They can be found at almost any sporting goods stores and wal mart for around $20-$50 depending on how much you want to spend.

Counting down the days. We leave Tuesday the 26th. :rotfl:

We are leaving for Disney World in 2 weeks. Yes, I know I'm crazy, it just worked out that way. My question is, what is the best way to carry items in the parks? We plan to make sandwiches and pack them for lunch to cut down on cost of eating in the parks. Also, we will need to carry water bottles, camera, sunscreen, etc. I was thinking a backpack would be good but what do you do with it while on a ride? I was also thinking water bottles will sweat and get everything else in the bag wet.

Please help.

I'd suggest what my parents always did - let the children carry everything.
