I called MS at 9:00 am, got right through, and my first choice was available (2 br lock-off at VWL, July 11-16). The whole process took about 5 minutes. YAY!

I'm glad you got what you wanted.:goodvibes

Yesterday, DH called for a treehouse for us for just the night before the DCL cruise next November. That was MY easiest reservation ever, let DH do it!!!!:goodvibes He did get it...what started out as what we thought would be a 4 night Treehouse stay, is down to one night, because...we're most likely planning a wedding next year, and no one has the extra days off to spare!!! That's a good enough reason for me.:goodvibes

I had the same experience when I called at the 7 month mark and got my 2br at BWV for six nights and a 2br at AKV for six nights, done in about ten minutes. Makes me wonder if the crowds will be lighter come June or is it more likely that people are waiting to see about their personal situations, economy and so forth before making reservations. Either way, I tried for BWV several times before and this time it was a snap!

I hope it is the same for next december, although something tells me that it eill be tougher ,. :scared1:

I had a great day yesterday too. I was able to get GCV at 60 days out. I called without any expectations that anything would be available and about fell out of my chair when the CM said there was limited availability and if I wanted it, I should book it right then.

It's been a long time since I was able to get VWL at the 7 month mark. It's our favorite so I always check there first. Very excited!

I suspect the economy may have something to do with it.

I would love to try a treehouse, but DH really loves the WL lobby for people-watching. I don't own at SSR so the chances of getting a treehouse at 7 months is probably slim to none!
