Easier to take a taxi from AS Music or Downtown Disney to Arabian Nights?

We won't have a car and are only leaving Disney once to go to Arabian Nights. Do you think it would be easier to get a taxi from DTD than from ASMu? How about the expense? Any other thoughts on how to get to Arabian Nights?

IMO it would make more sense to just take the taxi from ASM than to go to DTD first, the fare will not be much different, approx $15-$18 plus tip each way. It's approx 6-7 miles from either location.

Are taxis available and waiting at both locations or do you have to call ahead to reserve one?

Usually there are taxis waiting at the resorts and DTD, or you can just ask bell services at ASM and they will arrange getting one for you.

It's my experience with the value resorts that they have to call for you. (Concierge can do this, you don't need to do it yourself) Haven't needed one in a couple years though, so things may have changed.
