I just can't figure out what I would rather do. I will have a 9,6, and 2 year old for an upcoming trip. I was thinking about getting a mac volo to take to disney (I can get one online for about $70 and was wanting a new stroller anyways) But, I know the 6 year old will want to ride sometime too so we would have to rent a stroller for him. I don't know which would be easier/make more sense.
1) Get a cheap umbrella stroller for the 2 year old for the walks to the bus stop and stuff and rent a double for both of them...that way only having to push one stroller....or 2) buy the mac and use it for the 2 year old and rent a single for the 6 year old but both me and DH would have to push a stroller.

I kind of want to buy the new stroller but I know I could get one for cheaper. I tried it out at Target and it pushed very easy and I want something that could fold up easy for the van...but its still $70 which is more than I'm used too. I'm not planning anymore children so it would only be used till the 2 year old is too big for it...

Which did you think was easier?

If the 2 year old wanted to nap in the stroller, the rented double would be a problem. When ours were 5, 3, and 3 months, we brought a light stroller for the baby and rented a double for the other two. For our next trip, they begged us not to rent one because it was very uncomfortable to them.

Personally I would rent a Sit and Stand from A Baby's Best Friend. Then the 6 yo can just hop on back when needed.

Their website is www.abbf.com They are very easy to use and will deliver and pick up from your hotel. Great customer service.

Thanks for the reply about abbf!! I really didn't want to rent a sit and stand because I wanted something very easy to get on and off the buses since we won't have a car, but....I saw that they now rent fans!!! I'm definately going to get a fan from them. It will be $12 and I was wondering how I was going to sleep without my fan. I use it year round and I won't have to pack a fan on the airplane now!!

I would rent a single and buy something the 2 yr old can sleep in. I have a Mac Volo and Triumph. My Volo doesn't recline...but I'm not sure if the new models do? I love the Triumph...it is more money but the cost is well worth it IMO for the reclining feature. They both are very compact for the bus. We took both last year and they worked like a charm. But if you are just going to get the Volo, I would rent a double and save yourself the cost and trouble because the 2 year old, will sleep in the double, as well or better than the Volo.
