Her origional version of "Santa Baby" will always be the best.

"Where is my man" is one of my favorite songs ever.

She was amazing as Catwoman.

She brought Yzma to life.

Colon cancer is not a fun way to go, but at least she had a long life.

Thank you Eartha for over 60 years of entertainment, and rest in peace.

We saw her on b'way in Nine and she was fab!

Also our dd LOVES Yzma from the Emperor's New Groove!

We are going to watch it today in her memory - she was one great lady!!

I saw this late last night and it made me sad.

Such a classy lady, too.

She sang a song at a small piano bar in Dallas as part of an AIDS Services Benefit while on tour with "Rogers and Hammerstien's Cinderella". It was such a thrill to see her perform live. I'm glad I got to see it. After singing, she chastized the crowd for not giving enough to such a worthy cause. I swear donations must have doubled after that.

She will be missed.

So sad, a great loss. I know she used to play the Cafe Carlyle often. I can't think of anybody else who could fill Bobby Short's shoes. Now who will fill hers? Can't be done.

Today, in her honor, may we be "all dressed up and ready to fall in love."

My life is a little less bright without my Eartha. Her voice was so unique and amazing. Luckily she was preserved on CD and film so I'll always have her around in some medium. May she always get standing ovations in the great cabaret in the sky!
