So has anyone seen Earth yet? We are looking for a movie to see this weekend and DH wants to see earth but DD (13 yo) doesn't want to see it. She's afraid that the story lines about the animals will be sad. We've all seen those animal movies where you follow the zebra for an hour and in the end it gets eaten by a lion. Your typical "circle of life" movie.
Can anyone give me any feedback on what the storyline is like?
TIA!

I went to see it yesterday with about 100 2nd graders, who of course was not interested in the movie at all.
Personally I enjoyed the movie. It is a typical circle of life movie however it doesn't really show the actual kill...the attack but no blood and gore.
Hard to say if your DD would enjoy it.
I am a crier and was afraid I would be upset seeing any "feedings" but I was fine. I did laugh a couple of times.
I would recommend seeing it...it shows just how beautiful and amazing our Earth is!!

I went to see it today because my boyfriend wanted to. I did not make it through the entire movie. In fact, I got up about halfway and left. I am highly sensitive to "circle of life" scenes and actually shed tears during one. I then could not take another scene like this and stormed out not to return. It just wasn't my kinda Disney movie.
