Ears pierced

I have been wanting to get my ears pierced, but I don't know how to ask/tell my mom. I am going school shopping about a week before school starts and was thinking "hey, they have a Claire's in the mall, maybe I could get my ears done there?" Well like I said, I don't know how to tell or ask her. She had hers pierced when she was my age also. So. Where did you get your pierced? How old were you? Did you have a hard time asking you mom or whoever? Did it hurt?

It didn't hurt much, it just feels like someone is pinching you really hard.

my mom always left the option open to me, but i never got around to it.
i know that if i had them peirced, i wouldn't really use earrings though, so there's no point.

I got my ears pierced at claires. I was 11. I did not have a hard time because she wanted me to get my ears pierced for a long time but I said no. and yes it hurts, after you get it done it stings.
and yes Claire is good, they are very reliable and probley the number one place for girls for getting their ears pierced, all the kids that have their ears pierced that I know are quite satisfied.

first piercing at my doctor when I was nine and then my second hole was at libby lou ( I got a discount cuz my cousin did it) when I was twelve

Well, they make a mark on your ears with washable marker to make sure it's even. The lady who did mine screwed the earrings in too tight and caused major pain.

It doesn't hurt too terribly. The thing that makes it hurt is the stud that you keep in your earhole

Can't help you, because I don't remember anything.
My ears are still pierced...I've never had to have them re-done.

Ears are the least painful of any piercing.

It shouldn't hurt.

Nope, you can just walk in.

Clairs uses a gun. Guns are loud. it makes this "pop" sound when it goes off. that might scare you, but it shouldn't hurt at all.


Other places use manual needles(they push the needle through your flesh. its much slower, and depending on the area, more painful than a gun) or hollow needles. (hollow is for like...tongues and things. It removes a plug of flesh, instead of just poking a hole in it.)

Hollow Needles are a one time use thing.

but they have less of a chance of growing up than just a needle hole.
