Im getting a package from Universal, they tell me I can pick up my tickets at any Kiosk at the park or the will call window. Now we get into the park 1 hour early, what time does the windows open? are they close to the entrance gate to the park? If I go the evening before I have to pay the $14 to park right? How late do the will call ticket windows stay open?
sorry for all the questions but I dont want to waste my "early park entrance" buy standing in line just to pick up my tickets!!!

less than two weeks to go!!!!!!!

thanks everyone, your info has been so helpful! :grouphug:
Soooo Glad I came across this board!:goodvibes

If you want to go the evening before to pick up your tickets drive over to the guest dropoff/bus/taxi entrance. When you go in they have parking spaces on the left side for cars. Park there. If you are the cautious type leave somebody with the vehicle in case someone comes around asking you to move (if that happens just circle around the block and come back. It's never happened to me and I've never seen security go to the cars either). Go up the escalator and into the park. Get your tickets, go back to your car and you're all set :)

This also works for people wishing to get a preferred or premium annual pass activated without having to pay for the first day. We did just that this past saturday. Enjoy your visit.

The ticket kiosks and will-call windows at the parks are only open for around 30 minutes after park closing. You can use guest drop off to avoid paying parking. Someone just needs to stay in the car and wait.

The kiosks and window will be open 30 minutes before the early entry. The will call window usually has a line but the kiosks are easy to use with little to no wait. Personally, I'd just use the kiosks on the morning you go.

 I had all these same questions & concerns (wasting our early entry-and we stayed on-site 1 night) 4 weeks ago before our trip too & it will be as simplistic as Pursuval put it.

We were to check in to RP on 7/1 (about 6:30 a.m.) but I wanted to have tixs in hand. So what we did was, after going to the Cirque show the evening of 6/30, we headed to City Walk and parked in their garage for $3 (after 6 p.m.-not free anymore but still reasonable). This is also how we discovered the wheelchair rentals I posted about on your other thread. We put our name on the list for dinner at Margaritaville then headed down to IOA's Will Call Kiosks and retrieved all our passes. Very simple & worked smoothly. Gave us a wonderful evening and opportunity to get some night shots too.

Enjoy!
