Ok I have done searches and read through many post and have found some answers but nothing concrete that combines all the circumstances of my situation.

I bought 7 day base tickets, and AOA booking via Orbitz. Booked for AoA from Jan 11-16, staying offsite jan 9-11 and jan 16-19. Current plan is to go to parks on Jan 10,12,13,14,15,16,18 and have booked FP+ for those days.

Questions that I am unsure of.
1- Can we just go straight to AK on the morning of the 10th with our magic bands and gain entry w/o going to resort or guest relations with Orbitz Voucher.

2-Considering adding another day to go to park for part of the day on the 11th. I must wait to add this day after first use of ticket correct?

3-If I do not add a day before going to a park on the 11th (ie I wait until some other day later in the trip to add a day) will it possibly drop one day of FP+ scheduled because at that point I would only have 5 more days of entry left but 6 days scheduled?

4-If we do decide to go to a park on the 11th will our magic bands get us free parking that day and access to an EMH or must we check in at the resort first.

Thanks for your time

1- You can if you have already managed to connect those tickets to your MDE account, and they are STAND-ALONE TICKETS.
But, if they are part of a WDW Resort Package, you must check-in before using them.
I have no way of knowing if they are Package Tickets or not, since I don't know how Orbits
makes arrangements with Disney for the resorts.
2- Yup.
3- It could happen.
4- Resort check-in is required for resort perks.

Thanks Robo. The resort reservation and the tickets were two separate orders/transactions and what you get is a "voucher" that you are supposed to go to guest relations to exchange for your Disney tickets I guess. I believe this is the equivalent of stand alone tickets. I have been able to link them to MDE and make FP+ reservations for each of us.

If we do decide that we are going to go the extra day I will make sure to add that day before entering a park on Sun 11th.

I guess I may try to go check in early Sun morning while everyone else is getting ready for the day, if not and if we do go to a park I will just pay the parking.

Sounds right all the way around.

(If you don't check-in early that day, you might explain to the parking CM at the gate that you are staying on-site and show your MB.)
