Okay..... Who just now signed up for this? I JUST received an email from DVC about signing up cuz within 1 hour and 15 minutes it's ALREADY FULL!!! That sucks!! They did not give at least me any earlier notice!!! :sad1::mad:

We signed up. It happened to be the night we were already planning to be at DHS. I wish there were a way to cancel in case we change our minds, though -- we have to figure out if we want to get a babysitter for our almost-3-year-old. We didn't love our KNO sitter last time.

Oh, wait, you're asking about Anaheim. They're doing it at DHS, too.

I thought there would be a huge long thread already, speculating on what the special photo opp will be.

The Anaheim event was listed as "FULL" yesterday on the Facebook page for DVC.

Thanks for the info bwvBound! I'm not on facebook but at least they offered which is better than no perks! ;) We were planning to see it anyway nation wide but I would of love to see it for free like Planes over the summer. Oh well another time I guess! popcorn::

I'm not on FB either ... but have started watching the DVC page (wall?) after DVC Member Services informed me that FB would be the likely place to see new DVC perks being advertised. Ugh.

I'm waiting for the announcement of DVC perks related to the 2014 RunDisney event, "Expedition Everest 5k Challenge." Regular registration opens on 12/17 and I've been bugging Member Services for info on when we'd be informed of DVC advance registration. Their answer, "Watch the DVC FB page. If we offer a DVC advance registration/discount -- the FB page will be the first place used for advertising." FB? Really? You couldn't send member email? or use the Member website? Oh, well -- I'm trying to play the game.

DVC might be using FB to maximize exposure of Perks to NON-Owners, as a sales tool to attract buyers.

I was thinking about doing this as I will be at DL that day but remembered I spent 50 bucks to see it on the Studio lot the following Thursday. I hear this movie is great.

You're probably correct Nonsuch but it still does not sway me on opening an FB account (old school) :confused3 so I'll just have to rely on my teenagers to check Disney's FB from time to time whenever new movies come out! :thumbsup2
