boy things have either been busy or I have just lost track of time over the weekend.

I don't believe I have ever seen Shrek 2 just the first one on tv.

Have you checked or gotten the backseat organizer for your new truck to match the steering wheel cover? I have one and it's so cute.

reminded my boss today that i will leave work around 3p on Wed, return home on Sunday, then head to Tallahassee for work on Monday. Guess will be doing laundry on Sunday once get home from cruise.

Also found out that Atlantis is to return on Thurs around 1:54p. If so we will get an extra treat of being able to watch it come in for landing. Way cool.

that will be awesome to watch Atlantis land, Just pick out your spot on deck 10 ASAP and wait for it. I'm sure others will be wanting to see it come down.

yeah we are even considering going up to beach blanket for lunch to stake out a spot on deck 9. or thought about even secret verandah on deck 7 aft.

I am sure others will hear about it landing and being staking out their spots too. Cap't may even announce so then the mad rush to get spots. So we won't get to our rooms at 1:30p when they normally drop the rope. But that's ok. I would rather see the landing then get to room just to drop carry on and head back out LOL.

Morning Marsha,

It sounds like you've got a good plan. I iwll be looking outside to see if I can se eit coming down too. I saw the lift off from home so maybe if I am watching I might be able to get as glimpse of it coming down.

Not up to much today. I need to go to the store for a couple of items and maybe do alittle scrapbooking. I got 3 pages done yesterday.

My back is better, but dont want to do too much yet. I dont want a relapse.
Got a cruise coming up soon, I dont need a bad back then.

I will be watching the Wonder pull out on Thursday, so wave towards the cameras I'll zoom in and be looking for you!!

kathy from the weather reports sounds like the atlantis may not land tomorrow as scheduled. fingers crossed weather holds off and it can. what a treat will be to see it landing.

I have fingers and toes crossed for good weather for the landing and for the sailaway party!!
i figure you are boarding about now and will be having a bite to eat, probably at the buffet so you will be close to grab your spot to watch the landing.

I will be watching for it right here this afternoon. I saw the lift off from our house, so maybe I will be able to see the landing too.

Each day i will be thinking about what you might be doing as I bump up our thread.
I know what ever it is you will be having a blast!!

Had a WONDERful time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was disappointed the landing of atlantis was postponed. oh well.

Haven't been home long but at least unpacked. going to get some rest HA HA come home from vacation and need a nap. hey getting up before 6a and getting off the ship is tiring LOL.

Good Morning Marsha,

I hope you got a good nights sleep.

I loved all the photos. You had some very unusual places where you took pics of Mickey and Minnie. They looked great!!! I iwll shpw greg when he gets home.

I dont know how to link our dinner ressies but I know people do link with others.
We should see about it as soon as possible for the best chances.
We do need to stay early dining because Greg needs to eat early due to him being a diabetic. Greg had already suggesed we link dining reservations with you when we were talking one evening but I didnt want to say anything until you booked for sure.

I am busy getting ready for company on wednesday and then the cruise on saturday, but perhaps we could do it when I get back, unless you know how to do this. I could e-mail you our info . I guess we would just call DCL and tell them what we want, but not sure.

I dont remember our room number right now but i know we are on deck 2 ocean view. we never get a balcony for short cruises because we are never in the room that much on short cruises.

well need to go,Minnie hasnt been feeling well lately, so need to check on her.
I think it is the heat because in the evening she throws up her dinner, but in the morning she keeps her food down. She acts fine during the day.

Hope you have today off to relax and recover from your cruise.
How did your chair work on the ship? how about your cooling vest? i hope they worked great,

i linked our dinner with another DISer for this June cruise. just one of us has to call DCL give the others ressie number and request to be linked for dinner.

simple and just a call. whoever calls just has to have their ressie number and the person/s ressie number they want to link with.

well need to finish getting ready to get out of town for work.

Oh the chair worked well. I could get in/out of each deck i wanted. however needed someone to hold door on deck 4 and 10. and although i could get in/out it was bumpy. i find using forward elevators and going thru doors in spa area to get to deck 9 much easier, and can do that without assistance.

didn't shop much as stores were busy and would have been more difficult to get thru ppl and around displays. i knew what i wanted so asked crew/cast member at door and she went to get everything for me. then brought to check out desk <G>

i only used the cooling vest at CC after i changed into dry clothes from being in water. and it worked great. i was comfortable from changing and leaving serenity beach, then to cookies, then to ship.

found out they now have trams on CC with wheelchair ramp and tie downs. i didn't know it and had already started driving chair to serenity beach. my friend rode tram and saw the first tram car had wheelchair ramp. i chose not to use tram on way back to cookies so never tried.

couldn't tell or see if tram from ship to CC drop off had the same. but i was fine riding in chair back to ship.

at dinner i was able to transfer out of my chair into chair with arms at table. then asst server would take my chair, put it out of the way. bring it back when finished dinner.

but really got around where i wanted to go and when wanted to go with power chair. oh yeah also could get in/out secret verandah on deck 7 to watch us dock and undock at CC. way cool.

maybe already said this, changed sept 07 ressie to oceanview room instead of verandah. so its a downgrade but saves money. plus never been in oceanview room and i did get to actual check and see the room before leaving yesterday. nice size esp for chair.

have decided now after staying inside room for this 3 night cruise that works just fine. for 7 nights either oceanview or verandah though. not sure i could handle no view on 7 nights in room without a porthole window or vernadah.

will see how like oceanview room in sept and there are only two HC oceanview rooms both on deck 6 as forward as possible. for sept 08 keeping verandah room as my friend and her daughter are thinking of going. oceanview HC room only sleeps two. verandah room i booked sleeps 3-4.
