Can you tell I'm excited???????

Flying out of Denver they are $150 each way. Not much of a sale for us. We need Frontier or United to do something!!! And since I really don't like United I really want Frontier to go on sale. If anyone hears anything let me know!!!!

Sorry! Watch through tomorrow and see if Frontier matches. Sometimes other airlines do.

Sandie, flying out of Moline, it doesn't get any better than this sale because we are limited to what airlines we can choose from. I have a feeling that other airlines will have sales for our time period. Keep an eye on it!!!

I got mine!!!! Three for $374! So much better than driving since the drive after the cruise seems so long. Now to start finding a way to the port.

We are on flight 1749 leaving Atlanta at 9:10am arriving Orlando 10:36am. Well????

I'll make you all feel better. What great deals. One ticket for us from Toronto is $625 Canadian funds (this includes taxes)... would be more in USD. I guess that's just price I'll have to pay to get away from the snow and cold in January. (Luckily I got the second ticket on Airmiles).

Need a Disney fix - we are on the 12:00 flight because I do not want to get in the Atlanta rush hour and the earlier flights are all at that time. If it were just me no problem. but with a 4 year old I do not want to start the trip off with a cranky kid.

Jeff, what an awesome idea!

Okay everyone, all the "old folks" raise their hands and make yourself known!!!

Just got back from vacation at the Dells, after reading some of the threads I must be Methuselah, I'm in my 50s.

AirTran is down to $175 r/t from MKE. They have non-stops both ways.

DW is not sure if she wants to book them since they moved our schedule several times for October.

I'm hoping Midwest matches them soon.

Anyone know how long AirTran is running the sale for? Does it end at the end of the week? The longer, the better. Other airlines will have to adjust their prices then.

Jeff

I just checked and Northwest, Delta and American have matched AirTran out of Milwaukee. Looks like $175. And where is Midwest, still at $295. Just don't understand them. :confused3

I did check on Air Tran's site, and the sale is through 11:59 p.m. September 1st.

Needless to say, DW still wants to go MW. I don't understand it. Air Trans times are pretty decent too. Looks like we'll still be waiting.

YAH We did it. I just booked our flights. We could not wait and see if Midwest was going to come down in price. We booked through AirTran out of Milwaukee for 742.00 round trip for the 4 of us. Almost 440.00 less than Midwest. Too bad for them. Jeff are you still going to wait for Midwest to come?

Craig

Craig, wouldn't it be hilarious if all of us Airtranners met up all together in Atlanta? too funny.

Craig,
DW is still talking about MW. :confused3 I will have to discuss it with her tonight. The sale ends at 11:59. :hourglass EVERY other airline is down at $175. I can not figure out what Midwest is thinking. $120 more than the other airlines. Not going to fill too many seats at those prices. We still have FF miles we haven't decided if we're going to use. But as it stands, we'll be using at least 20k miles for essentially a $175 ticket. That is less than a 1% return. I usually try to get 1% or higher. If we pass on the current sale, and MW doesn't drop their prices, we may use an additional FF ticket. Plus, we will have to fly out of Tampa to come back on Sunday morning (no seats left on Orlando's morning return). The good thing about the Tampa departure is that the fare drops $30. The FF tickets are on hold until next week Wednesday.

Laurie,
The Air Tran flights out of Milwaukee are non-stop, so unless they drop it, the Wisconsinites will not be meeting up in Atlanta. Sorry.

gydell,
We are flying down on Thursday, regardless of which airline we choose.

Jeff

Jeff, darn...the possibilities would have been endless LOL...if we all went to Atlanta. Moline has a direct flight later in the afternoon, but DH and I ALWAYS take the FIRST flight of the day after we missed our ship due to flight delays years ago. Oh well...the important thing is that we will still be all together eventually.
