No doc dance here yet, but UPS has not been in our area yet. Hopefully they will come today. We here in central Wisconsin are due to get some swon this afternoon and night. They say 4-6 inches. Just so long as there is no bad weather the days leading up the cruise. I don't want ant weather related delays.

Lisa Thanks for taking care of the braclets and sending them out so quick. Can't wait to see them.

No plans for us for New Years eve. I'm working night shift Saturday and 2nd shift Sunday. That's my plans.

I saw on the news last night that the flu has started to spread across the country. It's on the west coast, but it won't take long to spread. We will have to live in a glass bubble till the cruise Everyone stay safe and healthy.

We got our docs today.

According to the tracking on UPS' website, it was dropped at 12:10 today.

I'm confused because with the last two cruises, both through TA's, the docs came from them. This time, they came directly from DCL.

Also, how many books did everyone get? Did you get one per passenger? When we went on the Wonder in October, we got 1 book for the whole family. This time, we got 3 books, one each. Same as last January.

It started to rain about 3, and by 4 it turned into snow. I just looked out and it is definitely snowing. From what I've seen on the weather channel, we are expecting 1 to 3 inches.

How much are you expecting up there?

Looks like Craig is expecting 4 to 6 inches.

I always like it to be bitterly cold and snowy the week before we leave. It makes vacation feel that much better. It can be whatever the week we're gone (but I do get some comfort if it is bad back here). Last year we were sitting in our room at Coronado Springs the night before the cruise and WI got hit with a huge snow storm. I think it was about a foot.

We have a dusting now and it seems to have stopped but the roads are slick....three weeks from now we'll be landing in Orlando.

We got one book for the 4 of us. Clarry has them filled out already. Also we booked through *********** and the doc's were sent from DCL directly, not by the TA. It makes more sense for DCL to send them out and not to the TA first and then to us. About 1" of snow on the ground here.

I am very suprised that everybody is getting different things in their docs...one book per person..one per family etc....I am also a little unsure about them sending them directly to clients that have booked with a TA. The reason you book with a TA is to be secure in your trip and to have them check things over and finalize things for you. If we never see the docs we can't double check them..I don't like that very much.

Quick question...are any of the docs arriving in any kind of sleeve or just the brown paper envelope....I just got some in for other clients and I was very unhappy with the new look and no document holder. Needless to say I did express that to my District Manager. Please let me know if you got any type of holder or plastic cover like you get when you are doing a land vacation.

We actually got two envelopes as well (both from UPS with the "brown" envelope inside). There was one addressed to me and one to DW with DS inside as well.

Last January we had 3 books that came in one big heavy stock folder (it may have been cardboard). In October we had 1 book in the plastic sleeve.

I think DCL is as confused as us.

I haven't received anything yet either and I look at it as a blessing. I have too much going on to worry about filling out all those documents. I'm hoping they stay away at least until next Tues when my little one goes back to preschool in the AM.
I am however a little annoyed that my US magazine did not show today. I am missing my Fri night mindless gossip magazine time!

Seriously Gydell don't worry, I'm sure we will see our documents Sat or Mon. Also, I love what you do to your house. I have visions of that each year but time, money, vision and patience does not allow me to come anywhere near what you do.

SandieT - when I had a little one I did not decorate like I do now. I did not have the time nor the extra money. I am not really worried because I know that sooner or later I will have my docs! What part of Denver do you live in?

Well I just got back from Phoenix (my daughter had a tennis tournament out there...we had to leave at 6am on the 26th...the house is still a Christmas mess!) and I just realized that THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY WE'LL ALL BE ONBOARD THE MAGIC! Too cool!

Well, I'm now ready to do the document dance However I have to agree with soccermom that the way they are shipping the documents now is like a jumbled mess of paper in a brown envelope. My clients that sailed over Thanksgiving on the Magic and in early December on the Wonder had nice clear sleeves that kept everything together. But enough complaining- now back to our regularly scheduled dancing
